Delicious food (the Arancini and Cacio e Pepe especially) very friendly waiters, relaxed ambiance. Love that you can sit overlooking the chefs and kitchen. Would highly recommend

Portion size was laughable. I think they were plating less because it was soft launch. Also service felt rushed with servers hovering constantly as the place wasn't full. Loads of people traffic in a narrow space. Had Cacio e Pepe which was a handful of overcooked pasta drenched in salty butter sauce, no sign of the pepper. Had the ragu which was much better dish but again portion size was a let down. Would not recommend at full price.

Food absolutely delicious and great value. Very attentive wait staff and service. However only criticism was that the food took quite a while - after an hour+10 mins we had only had our starters and were still waiting for our main - probably 40 min wait between the two? Overall fantastic though and would come again!

Stunning interiors, loved the counter top dining experience and the food was fantastic. Pasta was best I've tried in London, so fresh and generous portions. I will 100% be visiting Bancone again in the near future. Service was friendly and lovely, thanks!

I thought that the manager was very friendly and made every effort to accommodate us by moving us to a booth on request. Our waiter was lovely, very efficient and attentive. He had great knowledge of all the dishes and could happily recommend dishes. The food itself was good, the starters were better than the mains we thought. We enjoyed our mains but do not think they had the wow factor. I think the £11-12 main dishes are slightly overpriced. My only other point is that while the decor is great, the booths are so squished in, some people might struggle to fit in!

We had a lovely evening, we had to wait about 50 minutes between our starters and mains which was a bit too long but understandably it was a soft launch so we didn't mind. Food was absolutely delicious.

It was amazing dinner experience. Loved the place, very cool and the service from the whole team was amazing. Always with a smile! Food was good too, really tasty and reasonably priced. Will be back again!

We went to Bancone's soft dinner launch and had such a good time. Interior is great and there's a nice relaxed buzz about the place - the kitchen is the heart of the restaurant and it's a really nice feature. The service was a bit slow but that's to be expected at a soft launch. The wine was really good and the starters (we had arancini and the asparagus) were great. The pasta was too thick across the board for the mains, and the duck ravioli was lacking in flavour.

I tried Bancone with a friend and we enjoyed it so much, we ordered 8 dishes and they were all delicious! I highly recommended Bancone to all my friendd, finally an excellent and innovative Italian

We dined at Bancone Pasta during the soft launch week on Tuesday 19 June. The service was slower than you would normally expect, even though the venue was only half full. I’m sure that will all be sorted for the official opening. Our Italian waiter was lovely and very polite. The restaurant itself is much bigger then I expected and the décor is really lovely, mostly white and metal – very modern. An open kitchen gives you an opportunity to see when your food is being cooked, but it does mean that that the second floor of the restaurant, is rather smelly. The food was good, but not exceptional. Here is what we had: - Parmigiana roll & honeyed garlic focaccia with Planeta olive oil – ok, nothing special - Charred hispi cabbage, chilli, garlic & Planeta olive oil – the cabbage was swimming in oil which I did not like - Fried polenta, portobello mushroom & lardo – delicious and beautifully presented - Slow cooked 10 hour oxtail ragu with pappardelle – very tasty & a well-priced - Hand-picked Devon crab with chilli, garlic & spaghetti ‘alla chitarra’ – the tiniest portion of pasta I’ve ever seen - Chilled Gianduja chocolate risotto with mascarpone – good - Burnt blood orange with yoghurt & fresh honeycomb – very nice & beautifully presented Extra point for recyclable paper straws in cocktails and Byredo soap in the bathrooms. Unfortunately, I ripped my jean on one of the high metal mesh stool and I’m jet to find out how they are going to deal with this. On the evening the manager just gave me his card and asked to “email tomorrow to discuss”.

We sat in a booth which are extremely cramped very little leg room ended up being quite uncomfortable. A small gripe I had to ask for side plates several times. We ordered 4 main dishes I would of like them to have been staggered as by the time we were eating the 3rd or 4th dish were quite luke warm at best and dishes started congealing. Normally I would not be so pernickety about small things but as the chef was from Locanda Locetelli a Michelin star restaurant I expected higher standards. I wasn't very impressed by the started as they were quite basic but the mains were all tasty full of flavour and the all pasta's was cooked well.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Balcone and would definitely recommend others to go! The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The portion sizes were much larger than I expected for 'small plates' and therefore great value for money. I look forward to returning soon.
