Great place to go for something a but different in Bolton
Excellent welcome and service , menu to suit all taste , food was hot , well presented tasty and wholesome , will definitely visit again and bring friends , well done to all especially the kitchen team .
Our booking was for 5pm for 4 adults, a child and a high chair, we were seated on a table for 8 with no high chair. It took a long time for us to be brought menu's. The waitress tried to take our order within a few minutes before we had chance to look and then didn't come back for ages. When she did return they were out of a number of things which nobody had told us, just casually told when we tried to order 'we've not got that' The drinks then took around half an hour to arrive, the starter came soon after drinks but without bread or olives as stated. The mains came out about an hour and half after we had arrived! I know the menu states food cooked fresh but this was way too long considering there were only around 4 other tables and one had eaten already! We had a baby and 4 year old with us, we had to take turns taking them for walks as they were hungry and bored. It was supposed to be a birthday meal and we hardly even got to sit together and talk. Not once were we asked if we wanted any more drinks, I had to ask for the child's drink that came with the meal. We were also not asked if our child wanted desert with the meal or if we wanted desert or coffee. Upon asking for the bill (£85 for 4 adults and 1 children's meal) my partner was told the card machine didn't work, maybe it would have been a good idea to have known this before. It was actually such a shame as there were only 2 staff working (although it wasn't busy) and the food once we got it was very nice. There were a number of other meals I would have liked to try in the future but unfortunately I don't think we will be returning to try them!!
good food even though they didn't have what we wanted to order. what we did have was very nice
The service from the team was excellent along with great food and wine!
Potions are little small, but very tasty.
Love this place and keep going back!
The food and service was great The only let down was the wine We only drink prosecco wine they only had one bottle in stock which is abit of a let down considering it was 7pm on a Saturday evening on a bank holiday weekend aswell You would thought they would of planned ahead for this, apart from that we would definitely recommend the restaurant. And I've got to say the manager was everso apologetic over the wine Big thank you to the staff for looking after us
Veggie not catered for!!!
Took too long at the beginning (20 mins) to take drinks order. Staff too busy cleaning tables....nearly walked out, but young female server was polite when eventually served.
Slow start to our service but once they remembered we were there the experience was great and authentic (recently in Tallinn!!). Great value for money too!!
why you let to book table if your bar doesn't working any more..
Staff were very friendly and helpful Food was slow to come - we were provided with free shots Some dishes were overcooked for which we were not charged Food was not to my taste
Always a pleasant visit. Lovely atmosphere and welcoming and attentive staff. Food is good - not mind blowing, but good enough if you want to sell your friends on Polish/Russian/Estonian cuisine.
Great meal again. The staff were great when they knew we were in a hurry. Very helpful. I highly recommend for a nice meal.
So good we're coming back next Friday!
Lovely staff, nicely prepared and tasty food and great decor - what more could you want! Can't wait to go back.
We were on a date in Baltic Cellar with my girlfriend and we are very happy that we discovered this place! Food is amazing, service really nice and the atmosphere reminds us of our countries (Bulgaria and Poland) - it was amazing to feel a bit of home in the heart of Manchester. :)
An excellent dining experience, and good value.
Excellent service. Great venue. Good brilliant. Lunch. Menu prices v reasonable
Disappointed that the kitchen closed without warning before we could order deserts.
Fantastic night and brilliant food. Clean and staff very friendly. Will be visiting again
WE ALL ENJOYED OUR MEALS HOWEVER WE WERE A BIT PUT OUT THAT AT 6PM ON A SUNDAY WITH JUST ANOTHER 2 TABLES IN OTHER THAN OURSELVES THAT WE WERE BEING TOLD THAT SEVERAL ITEMS WE HAD CHOSEN WERE NO LONGER AVAILABLE AND HAD TO RE CHOOSE???
Something different, live music, good food and drink. Eastern European food isn't for everyone but anyone who likes it will find this place authentic. Only fault i could pick was the desserts might not have been in keeping with the standard of the starters and mains. It's not the poshest place in town but well worth a visit and priced accordingly.
