The food was excellent but the service was very slow
Staff were very helpful with recommendations on food and very hospitable!
So glad we booked a table as they were turning people away! It was very busy but this only added to the atmosphere. We had Baby Chicken & Babooshka Special Chicken, both with fries, it was delicious! The Honey Cake Desert to share a couple of Polish Beers & a bottle of Shiraz & it was very reasonable at £61 We will definitely return, the service was very friendly too. Thank-you for a great evening!
Very nice place and amazing food
Spent lovely time! Great place.
The food wasn't brilliant. Fatty chicken. The dumplings were chewy and i had to leave most of it.
Great food and drink. The steak just mealted in you're mouth
The service was fantastic and the food was wonderful, looking forward to eating there again . Really well priced too
Great Eastern European food
Absolutely wonderful and worth it every penny!!!
No vegetable options as sides. Service good but waitress wasn’t able to talk us through the menu. I enjoyed my fish course but my partners meat dumplings course was reported to be bland.
great food, great service, great price, what more do you need. variety of interesting meals
Very disappointed. Visited once before when you were based in Manchester and loved the food, service and feel of the restaurant. Unfortunately your Bolton restaurant is a total let down. Bad service and terrible food. Stuffed pork so tough and dry it couldn’t be cut. Dumplings that are full of water and burst on the plate. Every meal we ordered came smothered in chives. Won’t be returning and will be letting friends and family know they should avoid this place.
This is our third time and we will certainly return. Excellent food we all had a wonderful time it’s unique and the Baltic food is exceptionally with great service. Highly recommend
Good Food and good choice.
Food was great. I thought being charged 1.50 for tap water was a bit steep.
Food was lovely! Everybody had eaten their starter before mine had even arrived. I soon worked out this wasn't the end of the world as we waited close to 2 hours for our main course. The wait was so long some of our party had left. We had asked multiple times as to where the food was but again still had to wait. We were not offered any remittance, a discount on the bill - just a shot. Lovely food tainted by a serious staffing issue!!
Unfortunately we didn’t enjoy our visit , the main problem amongst others was a dish named ‘Baltic Bites cheese and meat platter the description in the menu had several delicious sounding cheeses and was to be served with bread for the pate , the dish arrived with 2 very bland cheeses one in string form one cubed and no bread . The service was inefficient and cold . We didn’t feel we had value for money at all and left hungry .
We were a party of 12 and the reservation was very well organised. Everyone enjoyed the food and drink. It was quite cold but don't think that can be helped much due to the location. Very efficient staff. Loved the many different vodkas!
Lovely food and very reasonably priced, nice cosy atmosphere, would go again to try some of the other dishes on offer.
First time at baltic cellar and we will be returning. Such a relaxed atmosphere and the food was fantastic as well as the service.
