Great service and lovely rooms . We'll be back again and again
Absolutely perfect! The sandwiches, Cakes and puddings were amazing. So tasty. The hostess was brilliant as well. Attend to us and always topped up our coffee/tea.
Arrived to a warm welcome. There was a slight hiccup with our booking which was dealt with quickly and in a very positive way. There was a wedding on so the waitress and the gentleman in charge were very busy but still very attentive. The positive and friendly staff made this a thoroughly enjoyable visit.
This Afternoon Tea was booked as a gift for a friend, taking advantage of the '2 for 1' special offer... which certainly made it value for money. The staff were cheerful and attentive, and the food delicious. The fruit scones were the best I've had in a long time! Thank you.
Amazing afternoon, will definitely be coming back, beautiful setting for our friends afternoon tea babyshower, staff were so kind and helpful and the food was fantastic!
The afternoon tea was delicious and satisfying, and the extra touch for my husbands birthday was lovely. Thanks to all the staff who made us very welcome and comfortable.
The extra little touches the staff provided made our stay very memorable. Thank you
We spent a very happy evening and were impressed with the atmosphere, quality of the food and wine and last but not least with the perfect blend of traditional service style along with humour. Timing of the courses was very well managed. Congratulations to the Cloisters we say!
Hello, Yesterday I took family to your hotel for afternoon tea. Only to find out that we not in the main lough area but put in the conservatory. The team where clearing away from a wedding and felt that we were just an inconvenience. My parents are in their 70s and it was such a disappointment for the 4 of us. We ended up leaving as the experience was worth £100. I explained we should have been told about the change of venue! A bad way to end a weekend away!
The food was great but the service was very poor. I emailed to confirm allergies and when we arrived the staff gave us no confidence this was addressed. Also we kept having to get up to find someone to get tea or even things missing off our food i.e. cream for the scones. It seemed like they put you on the room and then abandoned you. Not what I would expect for the price
Excellent afternoon tea with super and friendly waitress Amira.
Once again, the tea was perfect. Warwick took us around the hotel on my request (arranged by Kamila so my parents could see the venue I've chosen for my wedding next year) and he was lovely - very knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining.
Fantastic service, very attentive, Elena and Valentin couldn’t do enough. Delicious food, nice selection and variety. The building and grounds are beautiful, well kept and spotlessly clean. Only slight downside, corporate event giving feedback in the room where the afternoon tea was served, surely a separate room available as the conversation was loud and slightly distracting. Could only totally relax when they themselves were served lunch elsewhere!
Sandwiches and cakes were nice. Asked for water which was served in boiling hot glasses that had just come out of glass washer.....warm water is not nice. Lounge area where we sat was pretty dull, would have preferred to sit in consevatory area. 4 of us were made to have afternoon tea sat around a small coffee, not enough room on table so constantly had to move items. This is the 2nd time I've taken my mum and sisters for afternoon tea at Bailbrook, the first time was much better. Probably won't go back.
Lovely Food and atmosphere. Staff were very friendly and helpful - would highly recommend.
Staff were friendly and attentive. Champagne was "thrown in" as an additional cost but can't fault the food. We were x1 vegetarian and x1 ceoliac and the hotel catered for us both!
Great service, very accommodating staff and food was delicious! Thank you for a very enjoyable afternoon!
Obviously you are not a joined up company. If you had read my email to your manager you would not have added insult to injury by sending this survey!!! I tried to have afternoon tea but 35 minutes after being shown to our having seen no staff or service my wife and I left. I would not give Bailbrook House anything but a ZERO and will actively discourage any one from visiting.
Our party had a lovely evening in the restaurant. We were very impressed with the food and the high level of service. Perhaps a few slightly cheaper wines could be added to the list. Other than that a delightful experience.
We have both dined in the evening and taken champagne afternoon tea. Both occasions were simply fabulous. The service was both attentive and considered, giving us time and space to enjoy our meal and allowing us to take things at our own pace. The food was gorgeous and afternoon tea an absolute delight. Ewa, who looked after us on both occasions was everything a hostess should be: polite, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Our evening dinner in the Loggia was quite simply one of the best meals we have ever had. Afternoon tea in the Lounge was stunning with superb views and a overlooked by General Wolfe and Lord Nelson! These were special occasions made all the more special by the ambience and pleasure of enjoying them at Bailbrook House.
Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and wine selection.
very nice afternoon tea and excellent service
A delightful, unhurried afternoon tea in the Princess Elizabeth Lounge where we had the undivided attention of our waitress. A tour of the historic building by Warwick added to the occasion.
It was a shame that some of the sandwiches were rather stale, as it was stated they had been prepared in the morning. I feel it would be better if they were prepared at a time more in line with the reservation time
We visited for Bailbrook House Hotel with our sons for their first experience of afternoon tea! We were pleased that there was a child's afternoon tea tailored to a child's tastes, and the service from Ewa was excellent. The only thing that I would change is that the bill came with a 10% service charge automatically added on - while it was explained that this could be removed upon request, you can appreciate that this kind of 'opt-out' policy makes for an awkward situation for the guest. While I don't begrudge paying a service charge where it is deserved (and as I said, Ewa was great), I don't like the presumption that the guest will pay it rather than object.
