A truly unique VENUE designed and created with YOU in mind.
Far from just another bar or restaurant, BAHA is a purposely designed venue for locals and visitors to "come together"
BAHA serves a daytime and evening menu. Expect a mixture of sandwiches, pizzas, burgers, meat dishes, desserts and more.
Whilst I understand that there is a bar / restaurant and night club - if your trying to have a conversation with the people you are having a meal with - you cant be heard - due to the fact that the door to the restaurant is constantly been opened and all you can here is the people clubbing / drinking - which in nature is a noiser atmosphere than those having a meal. To add to that there was a constant draft each time the door opened - For this fact alone I would not recommend a meal or return to your restaurant as a diner - regardless of the food quality.
Very attentive and friendly staff.
Much improved than our last visit, nice menu
Fabulous interior, lovely staff and great menu
We thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon tea. There were 15 of us so we had a room upstairs which had its own separate bar which was a plus for a large number of ladies. Service was excellent and prompt.
What a brilliant evening we had with Sorin for the cocktail making class! We had booked it as a surprise for my Mums 50th Birthday and it did not disappoint! Amazing atmosphere and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Thanks again :D
Just a lovely afternoon tea experience
Will definitely book again when next visiting Bowness!
4 of us ordered food on 2 separate orders at the same time. The first came out fine. The second order didn't arrive. We had to ask for our second order which then arrived a good 30 mins after the first order. The food was then wrong, normal fries instead of sweet potato and no sauce on the salt and pepper chicken burger. It was nice when they finally got it right but it was a very long wait when the pub was relatively empty (approximately 1 hour wait for 2 burgers)
Anazing food, outstanding service and cannot wait to return. Thank you baha
This was our first visit to BAHA, to say we all came away a little underwhelmed would be an understatement. We arrived for Mother's Day lunch for which I had booked a table in advance. My Fiancé, Mother and two young children went in first, while I went to find a parking space. When I walked in I was surprised to find them seated in the bar area, when I had booked a table in the restaurant. I was told they had said to my family that they have seated us here because it will be easier with the the pram (although there is a lift which goes up to the restaurant?). Had my kids not already been snacking and the hassling of moving, I would have requested that we were moved as soon as I walked in. The icing on the cake was to be told that I needed to order at the bar (à la Toby Carvery). To be blunt both the food and the service was average at best, and doesn't come even close to many other places nearby. Another thing I found unusual was the appeared lack of uniform for the staff, it was difficult to tell who did and did not work there. All in all a poor choice for our Mother's Day lunch, and won't be returning anytime soon.
We had yet another wonderful night at Baha served by lovely staff under the management of Emily. Food great, atmosphere great what more can you ask for Sandra and Carl
Fantastic food and cocktails well worth going !
The starter was lovely but my main meal of chicken was lukewarm. I sent it back but although the potato was a bit warmer the chicken was still lukewarm. I left 95% of my meal. The manager did apologise and knocked £3.80 off the bill. I complained because I think that is derisory for a meal that I found inedible. Only after me complaining did she deduct a further £3.00 off the bill. This meant on a 13.95 2 course offer I paid £7.00 for a starter. Having to complain twice is not a situation I enjoy and it was made worse by the fact that I was celebrating my birthday. My advice would be if you get something wrong then try a bit harder to ensure the customer still leaves feeling like the visit has been pleasant.
Food was ok but the place was freezing and unable to close the door. Had to wear coats fir the majority of the meal. Food was good although they forgot the onion rings on my burger. There seemed to be lots of staff working so I don’t understand why they don’t do table service. Apart from that I did enjoy myself, as did the family and we would return.
Waiting an hour for food to be served. I found a piece of string on my meat whilst eating my meal. Food was cold and not presented very well. Very disappointed as we’ve been before and enjoyed it.
Great service, food was so tasty - lovely x
Quality fare in a lovely setting. Not cheap eats so a place to go for a special occasion or a treat.
Came for my partner's birthday. The food was amazing and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be going again.
Lovely setting , looked great but not amazing for the price and also there wasn’t much service , was left with empty drinks and had to ask for our tea and coffee for the afternoon tea . When it arrived the coffee wasn’t nice at all . The bill came to 70 pound for 2 of us afternoon tea and a cocktail , not an issue but expected a lot more from here .
First timers. Good atmosphere, modern restaurant with a nice bar on the ground floor for,pre dinner drinks. Service good, food very good too. Would recommend
Had to ask twice for water, otherwise perfect
