Fabulous evening before attending the Elton John farewell show. Even got to watch Australia win the finals in the doubles before dining.
Poor value for money for event at Qudos Bank Arena. Set menu, cannot see what it is till you arrive, if there is something you don’t eat or like too bad.
Great service and given it was a set menu the food was excellent.
warm welcome and waitstaff and drink staff were great. food was nice but would have liked some more vegetable or salad with the main of the beef as a witloaf lettuce and slice of celery was disappointing and could have skipped the prawn. The dessert was underwhelming and my pear not cooked enough was still hard. I guess trying to be different but something chocolate probably would have suited the crowd. Entrée was great and the drink package good value. Overall though was all well presented. maybe a choice between two mains would have been good?
Had a lovely high tea on Saturday 4th January, but the highlight was the outstanding & friendly customer service of Stanley (in particular) and Josh. Thank you Stanley and team for making my friend's 1st high tea experience memorable.
Food was delicious but a bit on the expensive side. Lucky we had Accor Plus card. Tables for 2 were 2 close together. Couldn't have a private conversation. Yung couple next to us said the same thing.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. Starting from not knowing about our booking even though I reconfirmed it, being made to wait standing for around 20 minutes (my mother is mobility limited), innane small talk by the restaurant manager when we were very tired and hungry was not wanted, the wait for our food was over 45 minutes and the meals themselves weren't nice and the meat extremely tough. The best part were the desserts! We had the festive package so dinner was included as part of our stay, but if we were looking for dining options I would not go here as it is very expensive
Another great meal and service at Bacar
My family and I celebrated Christmas at Bacar and it was superb. The food could not be faulted, massive kudos to the Chefs. The service from all the staff was fantastic, everyone was smiling, attentive, just amazing. Thank you to the staff at Bacar & the Pullman for a memorable Christmas, that has also been the envy of everyone else!

This is our second Christmas lunch at Bacar and it continues to be superb. Good food (and plenty of it) and spectacular service make it really special day.
The main food Christmas Day was well presented and tasty although I wasn’t impressed by the dessert and how it was displayed. I was advised by other family members that it did taste nice. The most disappointing thing was the lack of table service by a number of wait staff and the mixed messages we received whether drinks were included in the price. I’m sure other dining here will be fine but feel that it was missed on Christmas Day.
A first for my family and I to spend Christmas out the house and away from the norm. Fantastic service and an absolute great Christmas lunch. Stanly and the team were totally amazing.
The staff is very friendly.
We had two amazing (a-maz-ing) steaks. Rib eye and wagyu, both cooked to perfection. As good as we’ve ever eaten. Bread was great too!

I wasn't going to say anything but seeing as you asked.. The cocktails were lovely as were the entrees. Just a couple of things that let it down. For the price of the duck main course, to only get 2 small pieces of duck was disappointing. The Fillet steak main, again, for the price the meat was quite tough. The chef either didn't know how to prepare parsnips or forgot to take the cores out. This made them impossible to cut and almost inedible. After our mains were cleared we were not offered a dessert menu, we waited and waited (at least 20 minutes) but nothing so we ended up asking for the bill. To be honest we went across to Maccas to get a McFlurry for my dessert and a cheeseburger each as we were not full from the entree and main course. I expect hotel restaurants to be a bit pricier but felt that this was too expensive for what we got. I apologise for not saying anything at the time but i didn't want it to ruin our night.
The staff were not attentive. Took a long time to get a drink or order meals as we were trying to get their attention. We booked a Christmas menu to be told it wasn’t on. The meal was tasty but presentation was terrible. We won’t be back next time.
