Thoroughly enjoyed our experience
We enjoyed our afternoon tea. Staff were wonderful.
It wasn’t amazing to be honest
A big thank you to a wonderful staff and manager Lee who helped me to reserve a table for my special event! We had a great time! Beautiful staff, atmosphere and delicious food ! Definitely will visit again🌺
Atmosphere and service was excellent !
We thoroughly enjoyed High tea on Saturday. The food and the service were superb. We did feel that the space lacked intimacy and it was a shame that the views could not be enjoyed. Thankyou very much to the staff and management for a most enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.
We did a dinner and show package for the Jersey Boys. I thought the service was special and the cocktails were perfect. My only criticism is that I expected more choices for main meal.
The Monochromatic High Tea was a great experience both from a visual and culinary perspective. Great service and setting (Atrium Bar level 35). Would have preferred one or two more savoury options amongst all the wonderful sweet options.
We went for the monochrome high tea. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious. I haven’t been here since a friend got married a few years ago. A little gem in the heart of the city!
Had the 55 bucks per person hightea. Doesn't look and taste special for the food. Had a really bad diarrhoea after that
The high tea was yummy. Getting the package with the free flowing champagne was well worth it. 🙃
The monochromatic high tea was absolutely wonderful. A small issue was that we chose the free flowing bubbles option but had to ask for refills even though there were several staff members and not a big crowd for afternoon tea. I would definite recommend.
Needed just another layer or savoury apart from the couple of sandwiches, as the cakes just became too sweet,
I love the high tea and the styling to fit the gallery exhibition we’d just been to. Super lovely staff how were able to change our booking time last minute when we were running slightly late.
Very poor service Christmas Eve. Not nearly enough staff on.
Food & Drinks: may be 1 or 2 hot things on the platter may be 2 cakes and no scones. Atmosphere: 41/2 Star SERVICE: bad. 2 Star Value for money: I had a good time with my friend the service was slow. I felt scones was not in place may be 2 other hot things to take it's place would have gone down well. Margaret Spiteri
I am so grateful to the Sofitel staff for making our hens party(high tea) so enjoyable and memorable. The staff was super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. by providing us the private space, they made sure we had our privacy and yet full service. would definitely recommend.
Staff were delightful and attentive. As a frequent diner at no.35, the atrium experience was just as lovely.
Excellent staff ... they were more than helpfull
A great venue to take friends. First class service. Can recommend with confidence.
GF sandwiches and scones were dry.
I had asked that that our group of 18 could use the private area for pre-dinner drinks at 6pm as we had booked for dinner at No. 35. I was assured that this would be no problem (confirmed by email) and had informed all guests to meet there. I arrived at 5.50pm to find that some of my guests had arrived early And we’re not seated in the private area. Bringing this to the concierges notice, I was informed that no reservation was made 🤨. What surprised me most was there were no more than 6 people in this private area and that we as a group kept growing and having wait staff to move tables and chairs to try and fit us in in the general area. I was then told when paying our drinks bill that a fee of $2000 dollars was required to book this area out. Regardless, we had a great evening but just wish when you make a reservation that what you are told is the truth. Too much fake news these days!!!!
I've previously had tea at the Sofitel and was able to take in the amazing city views. Unfortunately, due to a private function, my overseas visitor and I were not able to have the same experience and enjoy the amazing landscape along with the tea.
I had a most enjoyable time with delicious food in a very relaxing atmosphere. The staff were extremely friendly and courteous which helped make it so pleasant. I’m looking forward to hopefully having another visit there before too long.
I love the Atrium Bar -always a lovely atmosphere & the view and really enjoy having a drink here. But the afternoon tea was a little disappointing - way too many sweets & cakes which we as a group of 4 didn't finish & only finger sandwiches for savoury - what about some hot savoury dishes?? Not a patch on having the beautifully laid out tea buffet at Sofi's Lounge (which was closed for a private function - hence Atrium Bar). Scones were lovely but we had to order another plate of finger sandwiches. One staff member in particular was very disinterested in serving us - seated us and disappeared and seemed quite put out when we asked for things - given we stay at The Sofitel about once month less than the usual excellent staff service was quite unexpected and disappointing. Other staff were great.
