Such an amazing experience , the food was 5star and the staff was super helpful and ready to assist anytime , fell in love with the whole setting as well , definitely highly recommended
The staff were amazing, the food was beautiful and the experience sublime.
A faultless night in every way. A special mention to all the staff who looked after us. We could not have been happier with the evening.
Very friendly front of house staff, great service.
Fantastic experience. Food looked amazing and the taste matched. Service was wonderful too. Thanks for a lovely day.
My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the Monochromatic High Tea.
Many thanks for a wonderful afternoon with my friends to celebrate my birthday . Truly a memorable experience at all levels
After years of taking our kids to the Atrium for Mocktails, making them feel grown up on birthdays we took them for their 18th to finally have some Cocktails. They had an absolutely fabulous time. Thank you to all for making our night so memorable..
I celebrated my birthday with high tea at The Atrium. I had booked Sofi’s Lounge but it was closed for a private event. I was delighted that Mary Joy was there to welcome me. She made sure my glass was always full and arranged a special dessert for me. The service, food quality and value is excellent! I will be back for many more high teas.
I had made a booking at The Atrium Bar on Level 35 for 11 people via phone, and had even received a booking confirmation email. When I arrived at the Atrium Bar however, I was told by a rude female staff member that they did not take bookings for the Atrium Bar, and therefore did not have a table reserved for me. (Despite the fact that their website actually states 'Bookings are essential for tables with 6+ guests')... Fortunately, there was enough room for us so we entered the bar. We then pushed two small tables together and placed seats around the two tables so that there was enough space for us all. We then had a male staff member come up to us and tell us that we couldn't push two tables together as he needed space in between them to serve us. He moved the tables apart, but then the female staff member came back to us and said 'you can do whatever you want with the tables', so we again pushed them together. Very strange start to the night! Overall, the staff members for the entire night were inattentive, disorganised, disinterested, and at times, rude. It took a lot of effort to get their attention for any drink/food orders, and they'd often take half of the orders, and then proceed to walk off without taking all of them. When we did order some bread and oil and some lamb kofta for the table, it took over an hour and a half for the food to be delivered. I have stayed at The Sofitel Melbourne many times, and still consider it to be the best hotel in Melbourne. Generally, the staff are absolutely amazing. However, the service of the Atrium staff is appalling, and it's not the first time that I have experienced this.
Service very slack waited 30mins for high tea to come out then waited another 20 mins for the tea order then the tea took about 25 minutes.to come out. Doesn't take a lot of time to pour hot water on tea leaves. I don't be booking again
The staff were amazing - kind and thoughtful. High tea - the dinner set was tacky and needed to be fine china to match the experience. The cake tier was tacky and plastic and unstable and did not match the experience. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon in a beautiful venue where many fond memories were made. The staff from the doorman on the ground floor to the staff on floor 35 were extraordinary ambassadors for Sofitel. Look forward to visiting at another time. --
Thoroughly enjoyed our experience
We enjoyed our afternoon tea. Staff were wonderful.
It wasn’t amazing to be honest
A big thank you to a wonderful staff and manager Lee who helped me to reserve a table for my special event! We had a great time! Beautiful staff, atmosphere and delicious food ! Definitely will visit again🌺
Atmosphere and service was excellent !
We thoroughly enjoyed High tea on Saturday. The food and the service were superb. We did feel that the space lacked intimacy and it was a shame that the views could not be enjoyed. Thankyou very much to the staff and management for a most enjoyable and relaxing afternoon.
We did a dinner and show package for the Jersey Boys. I thought the service was special and the cocktails were perfect. My only criticism is that I expected more choices for main meal.
The Monochromatic High Tea was a great experience both from a visual and culinary perspective. Great service and setting (Atrium Bar level 35). Would have preferred one or two more savoury options amongst all the wonderful sweet options.
We went for the monochrome high tea. The service was impeccable and the food absolutely delicious. I haven’t been here since a friend got married a few years ago. A little gem in the heart of the city!
Had the 55 bucks per person hightea. Doesn't look and taste special for the food. Had a really bad diarrhoea after that
The high tea was yummy. Getting the package with the free flowing champagne was well worth it. 🙃
The monochromatic high tea was absolutely wonderful. A small issue was that we chose the free flowing bubbles option but had to ask for refills even though there were several staff members and not a big crowd for afternoon tea. I would definite recommend.
Needed just another layer or savoury apart from the couple of sandwiches, as the cakes just became too sweet,
