About Ashoka Bearsden
Opting an avant garde approach in the kitchen and keeping the ambience stylish and contemporary, if a bit ritzy, Ashoka Bearsden in Kirk Road offers curry lovers a sanctuary in which they can cultivate their passion. For special occasions, the Harlequin Suite provides the space and privacy to celebrate with panache.
I am VERY disappointed that the prices have increased and the 30% discount on Tuesdays and Wednesdays has been dropped.
Excellent experience and particularly authentic Indian food, only negative comment is the rice is slightly over priced for the portion size. Overall excellent experience though
Great good, great staff, great service.
Lovely meal, friendly and efficient service.
Great food & drinks with good service
staff were lovely food was fine but my husband ordered lamb and was given chicken spoke to two members of staff which said they were sorry but very busy no offer to change it but I think it was the chef not the boy who was taking our order as he read back to us what we had ordered
Excellent food, nice ambience, attentive and friendly service.
Excellent food and service.
Fine food as always
I thought the menu selection was quite limited compared to other Indian restaurants I've been to. The food was lovely and no fault I could find, although I have had better.
Food was tasty as usual but service was dreadfully slow (2 hours +) and no attempt by staff to apologise. It was as if we weren’t there. Very disappointing
Very Good Food, Daily Special Menu Excellent Value For Money
always great food and service
Excellent as always
Food was excellent and reasonable value for money. Staff were very attentive throughout our dining experience.
Never had small portions before, first time for everything i suppose
Just as expected!
Food was delicious as always! Staff friendly and attentive.
Amazing food, I live 400 miles away but I will be back 😋
Great fresh food.
Pre Theatre Meal for 4 excellent value for money
Lamb chop starter didnt have a great deal of meat and the naan was average. Poor choice and arrangements for kids meals.
Bit of a nightmare to be honest, we used to come here quite a lot & the food & service was really good, not so this time. Firstly my wife was brought the wrong starter, this meant that by the time hers came I was finished mine. I had a South Indian garlic chilli chicken, a dish I have eaten for a long time in a lot of different restaurants, last nights has to be the worst I have ever had, I think somebody spilled a bag of sugar in it & the chicken was dry & over cooked. My wife had a chicken karahi bhoona, her chicken was the same as mine & she said there wasn't much flavour to it either. I don't think we will be returning any time soon as there are plenty of other restaurants doing a better job than ashoka Bearsden seem to be doing at the moment.
