About Aqua Whiteladies Road
Bringing the best of Italian cuisine to Whiteladies Road, from the extensive a la carte, the early evening Aqua ‘classico’ menu, with breakfasts for early birds.
The interior of the beautifully refurbished Grade 2 listed building has been designed with warm walnut floors, bespoke chandeliers and the glazed south facing frontage makes a light and bright all-day venue – imagine you are in Rome.
We had an office team lunch which needed to be served quickly so we could get to another event on time. We were very impressed with both the service and food and the staff were very helpful on the day!
Waitress saves the day! Long wait for bread and olives on arrival but comes with an apology followed by genuine smiles and pleasantries throughout the service. Food really good. By comparison we recently visited a country pub and paid more for six persons with less drink, mediocre food and service. Aqua Whiteladies Road is now a family favourite.
We thought the service was quite slow. When we booked the restaurant on the internet it stated that our 6.30 booking meant that we had to vacate our table by 8.00. At 7.55 we received our main courses. The food we received was fine, but we felt that the cost of the meal didn't represent very good value.
Been to Aqua on Whiteladies many times and never had a bad experience. As per usual the Food & Wine was to an exceptional standard, with our service being especially pleasing. Shem was looking after us, doing a fantastic job throughout the evening. Very well mannered, efficient (especially at keeping our Wine glasses full) and making sure all was well with our Food - accommodating any requests that we made in a very friendly & considerate way. He really made our experience a pleasure.
Our waitress was very smiley and very attentive. The food was excellent and we had a lovely birthday dinner. Thank you very much.
Love Aqua. Never disappointed.
Delicious food and staff were very friendly.
Great service and great value for money!
An excellent meal, staff we’re attentive, knowledgable and friendly, will definitely come again
Steak was burnt ordered medium. Chicken very tough
As always a pleasurable experience
Why I have not been sooner is beyond me! To start with this was an extremely last minute booking for my mum's birthday so was extremely happy to get the table at such late notice. When we arrived our table wasn't quite ready which was absolutely no problem as we sat and ordered our drinks at the bar. From then in it just got better and better, service was extremely professional our waitress was lovely. She was happy throughout and nothing was too much. Food was incredible and had no comments to make. ( my mum would normally find something not up to standards so this is a huge compliment from her ) after our outstanding 3 courses we ordered coffees! My mum ordered a liquer coffee with brandy when she had tasted it she new it was whiskey and not brandy so confronted the waitress with this. She at first was sure it was brandy but soon found out that the bar tender had mistakingly made it with whiskey. Again no fuss or bother to any of the staff as they very quickly rectified this. The whole night was perfect well done to the chefs and all the staff that made my mum's birthday meal the best! We will be back :)
It was hot day but air conditioning was on full blast food got cold very quickly and wasn’t enjoyable after 5 minutes. There ahould be a company wide temperature policy
Appalling welcome into the restaurant and despite having a lovely waitress it was clear all the food is pre-cooked and warmed up as they were unable to make any substitutes or changes to any of the three dishes. We waited 45mins for the starter to come and then all the meals came all at once with absolutely no gap, appalling. Pasta dishes looked congealed and watery and food lacked taste. We haven't been to Aqua in a while and it wasn't great last time but after this experience we won't be returning.
A very pleasant evening. Would definitely go back to this restaurant. Staff were both welcoming and efficient.
Excellent food and service. Was slightly noisy for my liking, but then it was Friday evenonga dn, therefore, to be expected!
Always lovely food, my sons gravy was amazing. Could have had more than 2 roast potatoes but not a major issue. Staff are great and love it here! Thanks, Nick
Hi- we came in as a big group. the waitresses were friendly but the service slow and we had to wait a long time for our food. One of the parties had to wait for a further 15 mins for a main course once everyone else's arrived. Whilst the starters and the mains were quite good, we were not impressed by the desserts, in fact, the Eton Mess some of us ordered look really awful- it looked liked processed meringue, split and watery cream or custard with processed frozen berries poured on top. We were surprised the kitchen felt they could serve us with this. Thanks for considering our feedback
Had a good time with friends, service a little slow to begin with, but then was fine, food as always fantastic, thank you
We love this restaurant. Not in Bristol long however this is our favourite restaurant. We keep going back. Food is fab. Service is super and would always recommend to a friend.
Good, varied menu and child friendly too. The kids' food was at the same high quality as the food from the adult menu.
Lovely Sunday Lunch great food and service .
Had Sunday lunch - really super beef and plenty of fresh vegetables washed down with a very nice glass of chianti !
Great service and a lovely meal
Great friendly service from Ellie, good value and great food
