While decorative, the flavours where very poor for a high tea. The scones were dreadful and the cook should be embarrassed to serve these. What was the point of the mucoidal egg covered in garlic??? Flavours should be delicate and not over power the palate. Simply the worst high tea I have ever had in Singapore. Avoid!
No complain on yr service but just think that if your staff could served us the lst cup of tea (mean fill the cup for us) i could add on an additional star.
We were very impressed with the presentation of the food. Quality was pretty good as well - just a miss on a few items. Atmosphere is perfect, really nice for a afternoon tea session. For a 5* hotel, I would have expected better service and more attentive staff except that we were told we only have 1.5 hours to dine upon arrival cause the restaurant is busy. That was fine really but when it was close to 1.5 hours later, the restaurant was really empty. Almost makes one wonder if it's a subtle hint that we shouldn't be staying too long. In addition, we had to wave for attention cause we don't really see any one we can ask for. Perhaps it's a public holiday and so you guys are a little short-handed but would really make the experience better if staff were a little more attentive. Overall, I still enjoyed myself and would definitely return for the food.
Awesome service with excellent food.
Frankly, we were sat for 15 mins and no one check on us or bothered to take the order. Service was minimal which was tiring at best. Food at the price, perhaps it was Easter, was mediocre. Using chocolate as a shell for decoration and serving sweets could have been interesting but not if 70% of your items are choc chicks, bunny. The same goes for savoury items, they were poorly thought through. Perhaps good for instagrammers but not for people who actually want to eat.
The table assigned for 3 people high tea are too small. Barely have pace to place the food and tea. Service staff was not attentive, need to wave for quite some time to get attention from service staff. Food presentation is nice but the dessert was too sweet and taste below expectation. With S$65nett for the Easter High Tea menu, not worth the price with the service and food provided.
Great service rendered and food is really delicious and cute.
The service staff were friendly and provided great service in assisting us with sitting a big group together
The food was not bad but the variety was so so. Service was lacking too
Looking is great but taste is not good for me (Tea and first meal is good.) And our afternoon tea have a fly in the box :(
Kinda disappointed that our choice of tea flavour was served to us wrongly despite repeating what we wanted. We reach the location at 3pm, and only started our appetizer at 3.30pm, seems strange that other tables are being served earlier despite reaching later than us. When the food came, there was a fly sitting on top of the macaron. We notified the server and she promptly changed the macaron for a new one. While the service was polite and professional, we are disappointed with the waiting time, and getting our tea flavours wrong. I would have to admit being at a 4 star hotel hi-tea session previously had given a better service than Fairmont despite being a 5 star hotel. Nonetheless, the food is delicious, ambience is cozy and quiet.
Food is quite little for a $55++ . Everyrhing is a piece. Some other places tops up. The sweets are mostly chocolates. Not enough variety.
Service very slow. Staff not attentive.
Hi tea menu is too sweet for hi tea. Nice to look at, good gastronomic experience in terms of look n feel. Not quite there in terms of value for money.
The food is generally good especially the short rib. The deep fried crispy squid however wasn't crispy and was too over fried, it does not taste like hotel standard and that was the only thing that was disappointing. The house wine (both red and white) are really good!
Overall good experience and good place to celebrate important events.
The food and presentation was excellent
Lovely, beautifully presented. A lot of sweet things though, would have rather had half of those and more savoury, especially sandwiches.
Service is still pretty good but quality and selection of food is not as excellent as Clifford Pier.
Staff : The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and the staff is extremely nice. Service: 30 minutes into savoring our savory bits, our tea yet to arrived. After we got our tea, the team forgot to serve us milk and sugar. After they brought us milk and sugar, they forgotten bout our tea spoon. We have gave up on the tea spoon and stir our tea with knives. :-) Lovely ya Food: Food are bland and tasteless but I believe there are room for improvement.
We had the Easter high tea set and it was amazing. The decoration was exquisite and the food was delicious. The staff were very attentive and patient. I highly recommend the place to anyone interested in having tea.
My wife and i were with you on the 17th March for afternoon tea to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. (We have just got home from the cruise) What a treat we had, Maggie was fantastic. We finished it off with a Singapore Sling. If we're ever back in Singapore we will definitely be back.
Chris and Maggie served us and it made for an even more memorable experience with their attentive and anticipatory service orientation. The food presentation was excellent - kudos to the culinary team especially the sweet desserts - almost too adorable to eat.
My group of 5 enjoyed 50% discount on our food with Eatigo booking App. Very pleased with my choice of menu, the Sea Bass was pan-fried to perfection, crispy skin & succulent inside. However, the lobster sandwich was less than satisfied, lobster portion was too small. Love the ambience & the seats. Highly recommended. Will be back again.
Slightly pricey for the afternoon tea but the pastries and scones were amazing in terms of flavour and aesthetic. Service was very good as well!
