About Anoki Derby
Enjoy the award-winning Anoki cuisine beneath the glorious gilded vaulted ceiling of the Old Picture House on London Road in Derby.
Anoki, the Urdu word for ‘unique’, opened its doors in Derby in 2003 and gives diners a true taste of the sub-continent, exuding opulence, with its lavishly decorated interiors, authentic recipes and traditionally dressed waiting staff.
Our menu offers an authentic insight into Indian cooking, taken from a rich and diverse culinary tradition. Each dish is created using the finest ingredients to ensure unique character and flavour – all in their own spicy aromatic sauces that promise an explosion of flavour with each bite.
We look forward to seeing you.
Fine dining- did not disappoint!
The meal was good atmosphere lovely and we enjoyed our first visit to Anoki
I booked a table for my Dad’s 70th birthday and he can’t wait to go again! Thank you.
Expensive however good things tend to be expensive
Superb food and service. The flavours in and presentation of all dishes was simply great. We thought your restaurant in Nottingham held the Anoki crown - we’ve changed our mind. We’ll be back soon. Well done to you all. :)
Absolutely fantastic. Great food great atmosphere and brilliant service
A wonderful evening spent at Anokhi. The food was exquisite and service was quality, staff are friendly and attentive. I would definitely recommend visiting Anokhi!
Food overpriced and service was poor. Food used to be reasonably priced before.
Quality food very friendly Good times thank you
Standards have fallen since my last visit . service excellent let down by poor standard of food . food to take away packed in foil containers which leaked . unnecessary cost cutting . i’m a regular customer . on my last visit the food was truly exceptional . i was deeply disappointed having travelled 30 miles for this meal .
Fantastic restaurant with great food and even better service.
Great food, fantastic service. I love Anoki
Excellent Service, authentic and high quality cuisine from a good, varied menu, good value, great atmosphere.
Only conceivable improvement would be smaller portion sizes, as we would both have liked to sample more of the menu but the main meals are too substantial to allow this.
Brilliant service, very welcoming. Helpful without being pushy.
Fantastic food, if a bit pricey but worth it in my opinion!
Lovely Authentic Indian food, with great service. The reason for four star is a) its very expensive b) The rice items are not great
Two excellent meals last week including bringing customers on the Tuesday night. Will definitely be back
Great food, fantastic service. Always consistent.
You’d had problem with leaking roof so everything was downstairs and was a little squashed and not usual atmosphere but staff did well to manage it and food was still great quality
Lovely evening meal to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Anoki still has the “Wow effect” and food excellent
Not sure about the films playing, I know it was a cinema but it can detract from conversation
Great dining experience with friendly attentive staff. Will definitely be coming back
