About Angels Hotel, Bar & Restaurant
Welcome to Angels Hotel, home of Harry's Bar, fabulous food, outstanding cocktails and an amazingly good time. We are the oldest member of the Lisini Pub Company family, and in July 2017 completed a full refurbishment of the entire building.
Our fabulous refurbished restaurant is now open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. We have a delicious new menu full of fresh, local produce – not forgetting the classic dishes everyone knows and loves. During the refurb we also expanded our restaurant space, coupled with a beautiful conservatory area – a spacious dining area with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
We also have the re-modelled Harry’s Bar, a home away from home where you can relax and unwind whilst trying out our innovative cocktails, premium wines, spirits and exquisite malts. We also feature a live band/singer as part of our Angels Saturdays and Sunday sessions all year round.
We have also added 6 beautiful boutique bedrooms upstairs, each room is designed with you in mind, spacious, comfortable and ideal for both long and short stays.
Food and staff were amazing had a great night and so did my guests thank you we will defo be back and defo recomend xx
First time I've manged to get a table booked since it reopened! What a fantastic night! Food was amazing, service was great! The refurbishment looks and feels fantastic too!!
Had a lovely lunch with my friends. All the staff were lovely and friendly - nothing a problem. Look forward to my next visit xx
This was my first visit, I will definitely be back
I had a lovely lunch with four friends on Wednesday. The menu had plenty of variety and service was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and couldn't do enough for us.
The service was great . Food and drink reasonably priced .
We had a lovely meal and the service was great.
Excellent experience... the family loved it
Excellent food and good customer service
Fantastic family meal, 6 adults all had 3 courses. The starters overall great but the prawn bruschetta had way too much chilli. Mains were fabulous -steaks amazing and perfectly cooked, cod dish huge disappointment- I think the chef ran out of the herb crust it was non existent and the sauce was watery with no “ lemon” essence to it, so 5 out of the 6 mains were fab. It was a very busy evening so the service was 4 out of 5 Hope this is useful and balanced feedback.
Food was very nice. Service was very slow. Had 2 courses and took over two hours
Excellent value for Sunday lunch
Staff were very attentive and immediately and effectively sorted a minor complaint without any fuss.
Excellent family brunch, great atmosphere, service and value for money.
Food was lovely and really friendly and helpful staff
Good very good and service excellent
Very friendly staff and good space between tables for privacy.
This is our local restaurant/bar and it never fails to disappoint. Really good atmosphere and great food and service.
Great service. Food excellent
Food and service can be hit or miss. I don't like to bring friends who haven't been before because you can never be certain that food and service will be up to standard! This is not just my opinion, I have friends who won't now go to Angels. Managers need to manage . Food has to be consistently good otherwise people will go elsewhere!!!!
Will Be back.
I would like to say that the steak pie was great,i could not fault the taste and quality. My partner had the thai curry and he said it was nice but the portion was tiny,i was shocked when it arrived,it looked like a childs portion and the curry would have been very cheap to make compared to the steak pie.
