Situated in the heart of Ferring, West Sussex Andalucia was opened in 1988 by Manuel Quirosa and his wife Susan; Manuel hailing from Sacromonte (Granada) at the heart of Andalucia.
Their original aim was to bring some of that zestful Spanish style cooking right here to Sussex, and this remains our passion today. Come dine in a contemporary, relaxed environment surrounded by exceptional Spanish wines.
We look forward to welcoming you
I know due to current circumstances your menu is limited but definitely not the quality I have experienced on previous visits.
Delicious tapas , well worth a visit . Nice to try different dishes and all share.
Please review your covid arrangements. None of the waitresses were wearing masks, no hand sanitiser available in the restaurant (that I could see) & no temperatures taken. You must be praying you don’t get closed down because someone gets the virus. We won’t be back until we are sure there are more safety measures in place
The food here is amazing
Food was amazing, as always. However, asking a few times 'What is in the Prosecco cocktail?' and not receiving an answer other than 'I haven't had time to ask!' wasn't great. Also, advertising 2 for 1 on those cocktails to then be told that it only applies to the bar (after we drank them and are about to pay the bill) also wasn't ideal. Still worth the money and as I said, food was amazing, especially the desserts.
Went during week and had a most superb meal. The best Spanish restaurant this side of Barcelona
Fabulous my first time... can’t wait to go again
Lovely family meal out great service but found it pricey
Perfect in every way
Another excellent lunch.
My first visit , really enjoyed it . Lovely bar . Service and meal were lovely . Only one odd thing , we sat out the back and I thought that the decoration was a bit clinical with the white walls and white tiles . I took a photo of my partner and it looked like she was in the loo ! Sorry Didn’t stop us booking again the next day !
Amazing lunch at Andalucia! Fantastic food, drinks and service!
We have only been Living in Goring-by-Sea for one year, & Andalucia has become our favourite restaurant. The staff are always friendly, & the food is incredible. We ate here last Saturday, & took our Spanish friends with us... They thought it was fantastic 🇪🇸
Very nice food but quite pricey for the amount you get on each dish.
We had been so excited to finally come to Andalucia after reading such amazing reviews. However, while the food was fantastic not much can be said for the service. The first waitress we had was lovely, chatty and accomodating, after she left we had another, who for the entirety of our meal, insisted on starting at us, yawning, clearing her throat and making it VERY clear she wanted us to leave. This unfortunately made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted so we rushed our drinks and left. When leaving we all thanked said waitress, who by this point couldn't even bring herself to smile and say goodbye. As mentioned before, the food was amazing but unfortunately the only thing we are left with are negative feelings and memories due to this one waitress. Further, we purchased the lunchtime offer (£17pp for several tapas dishes) a great deal IF we actually received the right amount of food. I struggle to believe that for £17 EACH, we were meant to only get one meatball, half a salad and other sharing dishes? On top of that an extra £2 charge for desert...we feel as though perhaps we weren't charged correctly and again feel disappointed - I stress again NOT to do with the food!! After being so excited, we feel disappointed and don't feel as though we will return after how we were treated. What a shame.
We love the food and the excellent service - only reason for the low score for atmosphere is that it is very noisy when the restaurant is full and everyone is talking.
Lovely atmosphere and decor. Food was amazing!
Been to this restaurant on several occasions and couldn’t fault it, delicious food with great service. Unfortunately our visit last week was somewhat disappointing because of the service. Surly waitress, wine and glasses plonked on the table, she just about managed to unscrew the top, the bill was placed on the table in front of my 15 year old daughter, not once did the waitress ask how our meal was, even at the end! Not one member of staff was wearing any face covering at all, would like to know the managements reasoning for this.
We have been to Andalucia’s many times. I appreciate all the Covid restrictions but i was told we had our table for one hour 45mins. With 20mins left we were asked to leave. It was a Birthday meal for my husband & i was not impressed!! The table beside us were already at their table when we arrived & were left alone therefore i have no idea why we were asked to leave before them if the restaurant was so strict to keeping to time scales.
Fantastic freshly cooked tapas. I am delighted to be able to eat in the restaurant again. Very attentive staff and relaxing atmosphere .
Having had a very poor takeaway at the beginning of lock down and vowing not to use the restaurant again, we did and were not disappointed. The food was back to its amazing standard. We had a very good evening.
The food was fantastic we had a great time, and service lovely , thank you !
Wonderful food and lovely waiting staff
We had a very enjoyable evening, the food was excellent, the staff were lovely and we felt very secure given the Covid situation
