Situated in the heart of Ferring, West Sussex Andalucia was opened in 1988 by Manuel Quirosa and his wife Susan; Manuel hailing from Sacromonte (Granada) at the heart of Andalucia.
Their original aim was to bring some of that zestful Spanish style cooking right here to Sussex, and this remains our passion today. Come dine in a contemporary, relaxed environment surrounded by exceptional Spanish wines.
We look forward to welcoming you
We expected to see staff wearing masks and customers to remain seated but a few kids were walking about and lots of mess left on floor under tables. Menu seemed limited and pricey.
Super food and service and felt very ‘normal’ in spite of Covid measures
We had a lovely meal and evening celebrating my birthday. The atmosphere was friendly and well managed social distancing between the tables, not over crowded and did not feel awkward at all.
We had an excellent evening with great food and a range of different ales to try. Service was brilliant and would highly recommend.
Excellent choice of restaurant for a special occasion. Wonderfully cooked and well presented food and friendly efficient staff. I was a little surprised the staff were not wearing face masks but understand this is discretionary at the moment.
The restaurant was not as ‘Covid aware’ as other places have been - no masks or gloves worn by serving staff or details recorded when entering. Plus quite a few fantastic items such as the tortilla and tempura prawns off the menu - so the menu felt quite small. What we did have was delicious though
First visit post lockdown. The management have gone to a lot of trouble to make guests feel safe and welcome. Happy to say the food is excellent as always. Will be returning soon!
Food was delicious, attentive staff, Lovely restaurant
A fabulous evening out to celebrate my sons 25th birthday. Restaurant was well informed and equipped to be socially distant. Food was superb as was the service. My first time reservation via the app no problem at all. Very easy.
Sadly, we didn't have a lot of time on our hands when we went, but I remember the pan con tomate y anchoas and pimientos de padrón with great fondness. Truly delicious. Polite service. Extremely highly tasteful decor. Thanks and well done to the team.
This was our first visit to Andalucia in Ferring! We came to celebrate my parents 53rd anniversary, & had a fabulous evening. The atmosphere was great, & the food was tremendous. We will definitely be back
Lovely food and excellent friendly service
Wonderful restaurant but would like to see a few more changes to the menu. Otherwise my favourite place locally.
The food is always great , the service was efficient but lacked warmth . We would eat here more often but cost is a bit expensive so restrict our visits to special occasions . Would highly recommend to our friends and family if they want a special treat .. Ian
The Andalucia is the best restaurant that we know in West Sussex. The quality of the food is always outstanding. It is simply an great place to go for any special occasion.
Excellent meal and very good service
A very pleasant lunch hour with excellent food and perfect service.
This was our 3rd lunchtime visit and as before excellent food, drinks and service together with a fine atmosphere. Will certainly be returning again.
Best Tapas outside of Spain!
Beautiful food! Brillaint service it’s our favourite tapas place. Definitely recommend it.
Lovely food, good service amazing atmosphere and cocktails are great!
Ive recommenced Andalucia too all my friends and family! It’s my favourite restaurant to eat at! The atmosphere and staff are lovely but my importantly the food is amazing! Me and my parter love the food so much we never have room for desert :)
First experience at your restaurant- food was very good atmosphere was great- missing a little background music. Service was was a little slow we had to ask to make our order. Waited 45 minutes for our starter and then another 15 minutes for our main! Restaurant was also very cold had to keep my coat on. I would come again for the food but not the service or cold restaurant!
Food was good but kitchen service was very poor. Arrived prompt for our 6.30 booking. Waited 1 hour for our first dish of mussels to arrive! Had to wait a while for our other items and we were told that we had to leave our table after 2 hours before we could order any deserts or coffees. Not a full dining experience.
The food is delicious, portions are a bit on the small side and therefore not great value for money. The staff have a very laid back attitude and service is slow, but maybe that's authentic Spanish .... it is always booked up so people seem to love it.
