About AM:PM Arthur St
“Irresistible Food, Unparalleled Service & exciting bohemian atmosphere guaranteed”
The décor is a combination of frivolous artifacts and flowers. It is fascinating, irresistibly seductive, quaint and fun. The combination of bohemian elegance, sumptuous cuisine and unparalleled service make AMPM restaurant one of the best eateries in the city. AMPM however is much more that its décor or even its food because this venue is also committed to the creation of ambience. The vibe and the tunes are inviting, cute, funky, alternative, appropriate, always complimentary to the atmosphere and never invasive. Its lighting is perfectly luminous and pleasingly soft.
We’ve been going to AMPM for the past 4 years at various times throughout the year. The entertainment is always excellent. The menu could do with being revamped.Although the food is good, it doesn’t change enough. Choice is fairly limited.
Impressive food and setting
1st time visit,, Thursday evening June 19, Ordered rib for starter was nice but very little meat on a very large bone thinking I'm gona be hungry, ordered main fish n chips, you would think simple but, chips where undercooked and hard and fish was a bit fishy to smell, was not very happy, a total waste of money, had to go get more food after it.
We booked a table for 4. Three of us ordered the Salmon dish for our main course. Small portions of food served, very tasty but expensive for what we got. The curry was more than sufficient and much enjoyed.
While we enjoyed the evening we thought it was very overpriced. Even a second course included would have helped - surprised to see other nights advertised with 2 courses and £2 cheaper ! There was too much time between food coming and the film starting- small numbers also meant it lacked atmosphere a little - all credit to the two hosts who tried hard to build the atmosphere with smaller numbers but it was hard going and a definite sense of one group dominating the room and encouraged by the hosts. Personally I found unnecessary use of bad language but realise this is a very personal opinion and others wouldn’t have a problem. We also felt the service charge should be left discretionary - considering only one plate served it did seem too much on top of an already expensive evening. Our party of 6 did generally enjoy the evening but the consensus after was we wouldn’t be rushing to book anything else
We were booked yesterday afternoon at 2 pm as a Mothers Day treat from our children. We arrived and obtained our coffees and glass of Prosecco. However after having sat some time and watching later arrivals obtain their afternoon tea selections I had to go and request ours. We also overheard our server arrive late to his position by the lady management. Food was really good, pea soup was amazing but we felt the delay in service really would have warranted an apology or at best a second glass of Prosecco as a sign of sympathy. Unfotunately we got neither. Gemma McAllister
Very impressed by the artist
Absolutely amazing night. Great atmosphere, great food and the entertainment was brilliant!! Looking forward to going to another!
The service from the staff and the show itself were phenomenal Would highly recommend to a friend
Very pleased with our afternoon tea . The staff were great as was the service . Would recommend and hope to go back
The £22.50 Groupon deal only provided for a very, very small 1/2 glass of Prosecco extra to the £12:50 normal price! Not a bargain. However, the staff were very friendly and attentive, and the food was very good. Cherrie is an excellent performer (who I have watched several times and very much enjoyed) but.....the show was 30 mins late starting and the very long monologue about minorities & gays (just before the break did become a little bit tiresome - and I would consider myself a supporter of gay rights! This was not her usual top notch standard.
Was disappointed with the dinner and half glass of prosecco at the so called prosecco reception. Much better value buying online for a Sunday roast and show for £12.-50 .That way you can buy ur own drink and save money. Advertised on groupon as £32-50 slashed to £20 when the actual price was never £32-50 but £22-50 so that's false advertising for a start. The actual show with cherie was very good but if I go again not paying £22-50 instead of £12-50 for half a glass of prosecco. Not very generous whatsoever.
Had a fantastic night out with my husband
No one was at reception so we made our way upstairs with no direction. The table we were allocated was a set of stools with no back, beside the bar with staff rushing back and forward. Only one of us would have been able to see the show at any point. We were very disappointed in the suggestion that we would even sit here as it would have been incredibly uncomfortable for any length of time and completely missed the point of being their for the cabaret show. Upset that I gave you a deposit for the table and this is what you gave me. I was also very embarrassed in front of a friend who was visiting and the experience made Belfast as a city appear immature and disorganised.
We had an incredible night last night! The atmosphere was electric! The food was yummy and I will definitely be back. My only critique would be that due to so many hen/stag parties- our smaller group was often overseen when it came to drinks. We had to ask a few times per drink- needless to say, staff were great and the drinks when they arrived were thoroughly enjoyed! ☺️🥂
went here for my mums 60th was a great night good value for money great music and entertainment. the food was lovely and enjoyed our cocktails waited on drinks sometimes longer than we would have liked but the place was really busy and there didnt look to be many staff behind the bar so it didnt bother us too much. our butler was lovely and very efficient all staff wer lovely and accommodating defo would recommend and my mum really enjoyed herself so thanku!!
Amazing venue for our after the wedding party.....staff where all amazing could not have done more especially Christian and Jan. Would definitely book again x
We had a great time at the Friday night variety show. Staff were welcoming. Entertain was fun and talented.
Lovely friendly staff but do not serve decaf coffee. Seats could do with a bit of stuffing as otherwise they are quite soft and you sink in.
Staff are amazing and really helpful, I always have a great night, good fun and very entertaining. My only problem is the food as a vegan my food choices are limited and on the occasions Iv came it’s always a chickpea curry. For vegetarian the choices are equally poor - standard pasta. This is by no means a complaint just an observation. The over all experience would be a lot better if I had better vegetarian options.
Absolutely wonderful night at Cabaret Supper Club, beautiful food, brilliant entertainment, and really friendly staff! Can't wait for my next trip!!!
We arrived at 1pm but 1st act, a guitar player, didn't come on until around 2pm, the main act 'Cherry' didn't come on stage until around 3:20pm so we'd definitely not book in so early next time. Food was gorgeous and the main act was fantastic! Hilarious and such an amazing voice!
We went for my dads 70th to see the artist cherrie on top , it was absolutely fantastic would highly recommend.
Your drag show was first class absolutely brilliant
Fantastic evening at Cabaret Supper Club. Food was great, the service was excellent. But most of all the show was brilliant. Would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an alrenative night in Belfast.
