About AM:PM Arthur St
“Irresistible Food, Unparalleled Service & exciting bohemian atmosphere guaranteed”
The décor is a combination of frivolous artifacts and flowers. It is fascinating, irresistibly seductive, quaint and fun. The combination of bohemian elegance, sumptuous cuisine and unparalleled service make AMPM restaurant one of the best eateries in the city. AMPM however is much more that its décor or even its food because this venue is also committed to the creation of ambience. The vibe and the tunes are inviting, cute, funky, alternative, appropriate, always complimentary to the atmosphere and never invasive. Its lighting is perfectly luminous and pleasingly soft.
2 pints flat ended up drinking wine..guitarist on before soultown groove played too long...too chilled for night of groove! soultown groove amazing and saved the night
Was sorry cherry on top didn’t show .. it would’ve been good to have recieved a text or a chance to postpone until another time we actually left half way through the show ... food not hot but ate it anyway Staff excellent !
Party of 4 and our first experience of cabaret supper club, we all had an amazing and enjoyable night. Laughed, sang and danced the night away. We will definitely returning.
Service and atmosphere excellent ...quality of food very good ...4 stars given as portion sizes of squid main course could have been bigger
Shabby and dirty, the grand piano had a few weeks worth of dust on it. The serving staff were nice and very good, the bar staff leave a lot to be desired, I was ignored when I was paying my bill until they had finished looking at their mobile phones. The food was average, but over priced, my cheese cake desert was Iceland standard. The drinks were absolutely overpriced, with no selection of rose wine, just the usual zifendale.....come on guys, there are more wines out there than this cheap plonk. The cabaret itself was spectacular, 3 guys from Cape Town. Overall..we had a great night but were definately overcharged for what we got. Good points...entertainment Bad points..bar staff, not interested in customers, only their phones. Food, not the best. Premises...shabby, not cleaned, dim lights hide a lot. My friend and I visited the Cabaret Supperclub on Thursday to see the Rod Stewart tribute act and have dinner. How to begin? The carpet on the stairs to the club was filthy and the surroundings were in need of a complete refurb! We were first to arrive and seated at a table for two which was in a hidden part of the club with speaker and wires beside us. When we requested a move to the more couch like seats, we were told they were for larger parties. So we were seated on the dance floor again at a tiny table. The menu was ok but the food was just average. The waitress took our salt from the table to give to someone else without as much as a “ may I”. The couch like seat we wanted remained vacant all night....in fact there were probably only around 25 people in the club. When ‘ Rod” began, well what can I say. In order not to be cruel, I’ll just say he was a huge disappointment! So much so that we left at the interval as we couldn’t bear to hear him murder any more songs. We were then presented with a bill for £96.96......which we queried as had pre paid dinner and show. Eventually after some discussion we were refunded £40. This was following the waitress arguing I had only paid deposit. And when she refunded, she was quite curt telling me to put my card back in the machine. No apology. We had been pre warned by other people about the over charging in this venue. All in all a bad experience we don’t wish to repeat. Would like to add we have seen various tribute acts who have been superb! Oh and just to finish, no loo roll in ladies at start of the night....NO excuse. Avoid this place.
I booked a girls’ day out for Sunday 3rd November for a party of 8 via the website. It was booked on the 24th September and the website showed this date was £12.50 each. When we arrived the waiter came and asked how we booked, told us it was £16.50 and the event was now Sing for Your Supper rather than Cherrie Sundays but when I booked it was £12.50 so regardless of the change I expect to pay the price shown when I booked it. He told me that the advertising is done by a 3rd party which isn’t my problem that is something they need to review. So he went away and after a time he came back to take our food/drinks order and I asked if the price had been sorted. He looked and asked if the manager had spoken to us which she didn’t! He advised that they were going to honour the price we booked it at and said it was all fine. The entertainment was very good but then the bill came! They didn’t change the cost to £12.50 each so I went up and spoke to the manager to query it she told me that she came and spoke to our table and told us we had to pay the £16.50!!!!!!!!!!! That is complete lies she did not come near us but proceeded to tell me that she did. The waiter who told us they were going to honour the price it was booked at now said that he had told us that whatever price the manager said is what we had to pay. Again absolute lies!! We told him at the beginning that the manager did not come over to us to discuss the matter at all!! I was absolutely appalled that they were literally lying to my face and making it out like I was the one lying. I asked them to come down to my table to say this to the rest of the party but they wouldn’t instead they sent down another waiter with an attitude. Eventually they said to take the difference off the bill. I gathered up the £272.00 and brought this up to the manager on the way out and again said how disgusted I was with the treatment but with a smirk on her face she persisted to lie to my face and said she did come down to our table. I turned to the rest of the girls and asked if this was the case but they obviously agreed that she didn’t but still she smirked and said she did. Terrible customer service!!! I think they thought ah let them get drunk and they won’t notice but we did so they made us out to be ones being dishonest! The place is an expensive enough day out with the price of the drinks plus a £5.00 a head service charge! Ps we were also given a dirty glass with lipstick on it during one of our rounds. Based on other reviews this place seems to be known for overcharging!
Great fun but missed the drag scene promised
Superb afternoon!! Amazing show! Great craic! Great food😁
Food was tasty with quick service. Great selection of drinks. Atmosphere was brilliant although there was a bit of a lag in the show when chatting to audience about their events. Service was good. I thought the show was good value for money very entertaining and would recommend again!
We arrived to set up for baby shower (was told I could 1hr before) To be given one little table, and told we would have to wait on the other two tables to finish their breakfast?? It was so awkward for us and for the other people eating our breakfast, as it was obvious we where waiting on their tables. Only when our guest started to arrive we wer offered a diff location. All this could of been avoided. This baby shower was booked well in advance... No excuse! The food was absolutely lovely- all 12 people made comment on how tasty it was! The restaurant is fab decor, and very quirky. We all had a lovely day, after a very bad start.
We had a great night in the treehouse for our post wedding party The food was lovely and the venue created a great atmosphere I would definitely recommend it
First time , myself and 14 other ladies attended Sunday evening sitting at the club, the Deco, service, entertainment was brilliant, and the food was 1st Class, not one complaint from 15 of us. Will definitely go back, Loved it.
This is a lovely restaurant, the staff were lovely and attentive, the food was excellent. I loved the decor I would recommend it for a night out either for a couple, family get together or a special occasion. I will return when I am in Belfast again.
The service was not the greats; my orders for drinks were not done few times. I had to asked twice or even three times.
Great food, great atmosphere, great entertainment , great night! Can't wait to come back! Ross is an absolute legend! Loved every minute of it! Went as a couple and felt like part of a huge family. Thanks for everything! See you soon
First time at the show and we will be back great food, entertainment and service.
A wonderful themed evening with good quality entertainment and food, although it would have been nice to have a two course option as well as a one course. It was an excellent night out and staff, both service and entertainment, were fantastic. Would definitely recommend.
We had such a good night at the rocky horror sing a long. Thank you so much!
Must be my sixth visit - absolutely love the whole ambience! Will be back!
Very enjoyable experience. Thanks
Very friendly staff, very relaxed atmosphere
Beautiful lunch, lovely staff, excellent service.
Staff were very rude and short at times especially when it came to paying the bill as I was curious about certain costs and they would barely give me the time of day as they just clearly wanted to get out as soon as they could. Actors were amazing and ran a great show however so would definitely return purely because of them.
