Now with the arrival of the Bar @ Amaretto no longer do you need to travel to Glasgow to enjoy a relaxing drink, a refreshing pint of lager or a tantalising cocktail. The Bar @ Amaretto caters for every need whether it is a catch up over coffee, winding down with a pint of Italian beer after a busy week at work, having a quick bite during a business lunch or hosting an event for a special occasion.
We believe Amaretto Ristorante and Bar is truly great however don’t take our word for it come and experience it for yourself.
We are sorry but this restaurant is not currently accepting online reservations through ResDiary.
Nicest restaurant in the area by far
Excellent evening with great food
The food was delicious and the atmosphere very relaxed and homely. Would definitely book again. They staff were really welcoming and helpful.
Friendly, attentive staff, lovely atmosphere with a log burner taking the chill from a freezing cold day and adding an old world charm and ambience. My only disappointment was the lack of topping on my pizza, but the other meals were very good.
Amaretto is a first class kitchen and bar, the food is fisrt class as is the service. Carlo is always polite and professional and allows himself to get to know his customers. Will keep returning Mo and Sherri Barnett
Once again a great evening, service is excellent and food even better. Thank you
We always get a lovely warm welcome at Amaretto's, delicious, reliable standard of food and reasonable pricing.
The food is always great, excellent range of drinks, and the staff always go the extra mile (we have two small, noisy, messy kids and it’s nice to be made to feel that they are just as welcome as the adult customers).
Excellent meal, good value for money and great service
Had a lovely 50th birthday lunch. Excellent food.
Amaretto was the perfect venue for our son’s 18th birthday party. In his words “it couldn’t have been any better”. Thank you so much to the team for their outstanding help and service. A great night was had by all and I would not hesitate to recommend it.
Great food fantastic cocktails and a great atmosphere
Have been going to ameretto for 4 years now. Same high quality food and service as always.
Great specials menu in addition to classic Italian standards. The wine list is also very good and features some excellent and unusual regional selections. Service is very attentive.
Very tasty food in comfortable surroundings.
Enjoyed a very tasty lunch in comfortable atmosphere.
Food was amazing and well worth the money but nearly an hour waiting for main course on an early evening booking isn't great service.
Excellent food and service
Our visit to Amaretto was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The restaurant is well decorated providing a cosy atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and attentive (even when dealing with the......drunk idiot on the next table). The food was amazing, portion size was just right and the quality was fantastic, i recommend the scallops as they were just amazing. On the price i thought it was very very reasonable, i expected to pay more for such quality. A really great restaurant and lovely dining experience, we won't hesitate to come again if in the area.....highly recommended.
This is our local Italian restaurant as we live in the area but let me start by saying, that is not the only reason that we go to Amaretto! Even if I had to travel to dine here as we do for many other of our favourite eateries. Carlos and the staff in Amaretto are welcoming, attentive, friendly but also professional. We find Carlos the owner to be a lovely guy and we feel almost as if he treats us almost as friends. The food is of a high standard and although we are pests - by that I mean that we rarely order straight from the menu but mix and match things and to be fair Carlos has told us that as long as they have the ingredients then they will make it for us! You do not get that treatment in other restaurants. We dine in Amaretto at least once per week but sometimes twice as we really live this place. The staff as I’ve mentioned are a friendly bunch and we were looked after in Saturday by a new manager by the name of Bethany and she was very nice and made sure that we were well attended to - so thanks to her. What I’m really saying is if you like Italian food and live within striking distance of Amaretto do yourself a favour and get along there and let Carlos and the team treat you to some lovely food and great service.
Food was brilliant, loved it
Lovely, friendly atmosphere with great staff & very tasty food!
Don't live too close but enjoy it when we do come to visit. Good food and ambiance
Great food and excellent service
Good menu with great tasting food and excellent service. Made very welcome from the moment we arrived with staff polite and attentive. Five stars all the way.
