About Adelina Yard
Adelina Yard opened it’s doors in Bristol in December 2015, serving modern European food in a relaxed, family atmosphere.
Chefs Jamie Randall and Olivia Barry head up our creative and enthusiastic team of chef’s, serving exciting flavour combinations from carefully sourced local ingredients. Our food has it’s foundations in the classics that all of our chefs have trained in, but with a forward thinking twist and always delivered with a smile and without pomp. We take care in creating almost everything that reaches your plate under the Adelina Yard roof; including baking our own bread, churning our own butter and curing our own meats. Everything that you eat has been planned and prepared by us. Whether your thing is wearing trainers or rocking a three piece suit; our aim is to give you a culinary experience that is second to none and a damn good time!
Tasting menu was amazing, and great service too. The explanations of the wine pairings are really interesting. Our favourite restaurant in Bristol!
Award-deserving restaurant, definitely coming back for more! Loved the amuse bouche, cauliflower soup, risotto & poussin- more greens would’ve been nice... Not as keen on the beetroot starter, mix of flavours & textures didn’t work for me. Good choice of affordable wines, some cocktails would be a good addition... Good service, excellent knowledge of food; I would’ve liked my wine a little earlier... overall, a fine restaurant- thanks you.
Excellent service, good food, nice venue.
Spectacular flavours and great service. The roasted cod was beautiful. Lovely atmosphere and whilst the food is exceptional the approach and service is relaxed and friendly.
Quality of food was fantastic, service a little slow but not to the point of being a big problem.
Main course and starters were exceptional- good ideas and beautifully executed. Dessert a little less successful - Jerusalem artichoke mousse and chocolate was an interesting idea but didn’t quite work - too much mousse. Serivce and staff were very good, if there had been more people in the restaurant the atmosphere would have been better. I would book again.
Excellent food and service. My dietary request had been noted from my reservation and the options from the menu were explained to me without me asking again. Most considerate. A very interesting menu. Thank you.
Service and staff were amazing, however we were disappointed with the flavours of the tasting menu. Unfortunately for us we just didn’t think the menu worked.
Excellent seasonal set lunch menu with a few delicious extras thrown in. This is high quality cooking at a reasonable cost. Great service from the team too. Chef Olivia came out to check that we were happy with our meal. We were. I'll be back.
Service was excellent. Really attentive and knowledgeable about the food. The meal was fantastic. The mix of flavours on the plate was a great combination, presentation excellent and the meal was perfectly cooked. We’ll absolutely be returning soon.
Loved it, great food and experience. A lovely and special midweek treat for me and my husband. Thanks.
This is an excellent restaurant, the food was delicous, interesting and well thought out. We had the tasting menu which was great value for such a refined selection. I would recommend Adelina Yard without quarm.
Really amazing food and wine. I’ll definitely come back!
Had a lovely time. Nice setting.
The cavatelli starter was a work of genius. The beef broth accompanying the mushroom and salted vegetables was fullsome and warming. The 'cheese cake' tasted brilliant but was a bit too deconstructed for me to call it a cake. I read previous reviews complaining of a lack of atmosphere and have to disagree. It's an easy going, friendly restaurant.
The dessert is really nice :)
Really great food, nice service.
Excellent and interesting food with attentive service.
2nd visit for lunch. Faultless both times and I can't recommend highly enough.
Great value tasting menu, we were very happy that the matching wine fight was not aggressively pushed (it often is with tasting menus). Great selection of wines. The food was delicious, service impeccable and the crockery was lovely.
Wonderful meal with super friendly chatty staff. Can’t wait to revisit soon!
Excellent meal. Lunchtimes seem to be better than evenings as your chefs have more time to perfect the food
First visit and took some visiting colleagues from Spain and France to lunch. We all enjoyed each dish on the lunch menu as well as the excellent expresso that finished the meal. Will definitely be back to try the taster menu. Thank you.
Fantastic lunch. We had the tasting menu and it was great. Grouse dish was our least favourite, possibly only because the others were so good! It just tasted a bit 'samey' and needed lifting somehow with something a bit fresh/lighter as the accompaniment was very earthy as is the grouse. The brill was the star of the show, faultless. Beef and burrata a close 2nd, the yuzu dressing and ox heart shavings were perfect. The chocolate desert sounded so strange but was exquisite. We loved the blue cheese and beautiful little pear tatin. Can you tell we enjoyed our lunch?! We will definitely return for our next special occasion meal or maybe even for your fabulously priced lunch menu - we will be back soon! The music was great, we liked the fact the chefs came of and served as well as front of house. The front of house staff were friendly and helpful. The only thing that's a shame we felt was that the table was next to the grey opaque covered window so we didn't have a nice river view. But saying that I enjoyed being able to see the chefs at work :)
A great find - which I have passed on to friends. We will definitely return despite the awful traffic to get into Bristol!
