Adam’s is a contemporary British fine dining restaurant serving modern dishes. The intimate stylish dining room caters for individuals and parties for romantic to business occasions. Chef patron Adam Stokes heads up the award winning restaurant which holds a string of accolades including a Michelin Star, three AA Rosettes and a score of 7 in the Good Food Guide.
The 35 cover fine dining restaurant serves an a la carte menu alongside the signature tasting menu as well as a limited choice lunch menu during the week.
In January 2016 the restaurant took up permanent residence at New Oxford House on Waterloo Street after completing it's two and a half year residency around the corner. In addition to the new dining room there is a bar area for guest’s to enjoy an aperitif or digestive. There is a Private Dining Room adjacent to the main dining room for that exclusive feel and is perfect for speeches or presentations. The new premises has also seen the creation of a Chef’s Table located within the kitchen environment which is open to individual groups of diners on a Friday & Saturday evening.
Very much enjoyed the meal. The food was fabulous, and we were impressed with the great combinations of flavours and work. The wine choice was vast but having picked a recognised grape we were very impressed. We found the staff to be helpful and very professional, however what we enjoyed most about the service was the sense of humour of the staff, which was a nice change to the often formal and slightly rigid service you get in fine dining. Overall we loved the experience and will be back.
Would have preferred to have a choice over the service charge rather than it being presented as a fait accompli. Food and service however were top class.
Lunch on Saturday 18 November was my surprise birthday treat from my wife. From the moment we entered, the staff provided excellent service without being intrusive. The Tasting Menu and accompanying wines were outstanding, comparing very favourably with two star establishments we have visited. We particularly liked the relaxed, un-stuffy ambience and would single out sommelier Richard for a special mention. Before leaving, we had a visit to the kitchen where the head chef (apologies, I can't remember your name) explained the running of the gleaming kitchen. A memorable experience that we shall certainly repeat. Bravo! Michael Robertson-Smith

Wonderful food matched perfectly by the selected wines on the tasting menu. Friendly and smiling service, which was both knowledgeable and alway so well timed. Our sommelier was both serious and amusing, a lovely balance. The evening flew past, and finished too soon!
My gut- enforced Sobriety did not damper absolute culinery excellence enjoyed by all four of us on saturday.Your staff are just delightful and such a credit to you. I was not too keen on the WATER waiter mind!!see you all on the 5th December where that Sancerre Rose can be salvaged!!! Many many thanks lin and Richard Chell. X

A wonderful meal, with excellent service all round. Thoroughly recommended. Every dish was stunning, especially the duck and the pigeon. We sat at the chef’s table which was a real treat. Our sommelier Richard was pleasant and knowledgeable and the wine flight introduced us to some unexpected delights. We will be back!!

Fabulous meal for our group of 10 ladies - several of whom had not been to Adam's before but certainly will again! They all raved about the food and the immaculate service (thanks for all the "theatre") and the experience in general. The only minor niggle was that at the end, when we needed to get the bill so some ladies could pay their share and go, all the senior staff seemed to have vanished and it took a long time after asking for the bill before it arrived. That apart, everything was absolutely first rate - many thanks! Helen.

An excellent selection of very well prepared dishes with wonderful subtle flavours.
We dined as a table of four on Wednesday evening and had the tasting menu, the restaurant was packed and had a really nice buzz about the place.. The front of house where fantastic, very attentive but equally done in very relaxed and professional manner. The foodhowever was on another level, the crab, sweetbread, halibut and duck where incredible. The flavours and cooking quality of these dishes in particular where outstanding, the deserts to follow where of the highest order too. This restaurant has seriously stepped up and has become not only the top restaurant in the midlands but in the uk too. Thank you to everyone front and back of house for an exceptional evening. Bravo.
The service was one of the best we have received in any restaurant that we have been too. The food was excellent. In terms of value for money, we have had quality meals at Simpsons and the Manoir aux Quatre Saison which were both cheaper and so this has led us to give the rating we did. In all, a fantastic evening.

Food & drink we’re superb. The only disappointment was that we ordered the extra Lobster course with a pairing wine. Unfortunately I had to ask a second time for the wine. Last year the service was seamless.

We had such a wonderful time Saturday night. This was our 3rd visit to Adams, our second this year. We are always made to feel super welcome when we arrive. This time we went for the more expensive of the two wine flights as well and it made such a difference to our experience. The wine was incredible! Your sommelier was lovely too (lad from Leicester) really informative on how the wine sits with the dishes and how it works on your palette. Our love for Adam’s grows more with each visit. Thank you for more memories.
Excellent service and food. Felt very special and this is what justifies the price. Friendly staff that put us at ease. Also helped advise us regarding wine, as we find that having the wine tasting menu can be a bit much. Lacked pretentiousness, too. One of the best meals I have ever had. Many thanks.
