Adam’s is a contemporary British fine dining restaurant serving modern dishes. The intimate stylish dining room caters for individuals and parties for romantic to business occasions. Chef patron Adam Stokes heads up the award winning restaurant which holds a string of accolades including a Michelin Star, three AA Rosettes and a score of 7 in the Good Food Guide.
The 35 cover fine dining restaurant serves an a la carte menu alongside the signature tasting menu as well as a set lunch menu Tuesday - Thursday.
In January 2016 the restaurant took up permanent residence at New Oxford House on Waterloo Street after completing its two and a half year residency around the corner. In addition to the new dining room there is a bar area for guests to enjoy an aperitif or digestive. There is a Private Dining Room adjacent to the main dining room for that exclusive feel and is perfect for speeches or presentations. The new premises has also seen the creation of a Chef’s Table located within the kitchen environment which is open to individual groups of diners on a Friday & Saturday evening as well as Saturday lunch.
Overall excellent as always, having been a few time before, the food and wines are always a sensational, this time was no exception.

We had a sublime lunch experience. The tasting menu was amazing. It was so, so good to taste delicious, exquisite, expertly cooked and presented food again after months of M&S food. Angela.
The whole experience was superb. The tasting menu was delicious and I would highly recommend Option 2 wine flight to accompany the meal.
We ate at lunch on the first day reopening following lockdown. Like everywhere, Adams will have made countless changes to the way they operate but these have been planned and managed so well that there was no obvious impact on the experience. We chose the full tasting menu, with paired wines, and had a fantastic meal from the delicious amuse bouche through to coffee and petits fours. Particularly standout were the mackerel, halibut and lobster which was cooked to perfection, and raspberry desert. Wines were well chosen to complement each course and introduced with great detail by the team. And service throughout was as relaxed, friendly and informative as ever. Overall this was a five star meal made all the more special by being our first for nearly six months.
Food was absolutely stunning, every dish I had was delicious, and service was attentive and friendly. Didn't feel rushed and the restaurant light clean and airy, with good social distancing measures.
My partner and I had a wonderful meal at Adams. The food was so delicate and so flavoursome. We will definitely be returning.
With the very challenging time for our industry I had this booked 3 times. The service prior to coming this week was first class, staff contacted us to re-arrange and nothing too much trouble, extending the time on my voucher as it was a birthday gift and would f ran out. The evening again first class, food exceptional and attentive service, the perfect blend. Many thanks to the team.
Impeccable service, superb tasting menu that was perfectly paired with the wine. I have been a Chef for 22 years and I honestly couldn't fault the experience. I shall most certainly return.
Chefs table is superb and one of those experiences you must do. Even foods I wouldn’t usually eat were so good you have to sample everything but they will adapt/change anything for you. Watching the chefs work adds a new dimension to the dining experience. Brilliant! Thoroughly deserving of all their many awards.

Nice you have the same people friendly and knowledgable. Wine pairing worked well with pescatarian menu. Heritage tomatoes not as good as Swinfen Hall. It’s expensive so occasional treat for us. Pleased you had a lot of customers.
Great to be back, food excellent, service exactly the same - brilliant, no problem with social distancing at all. Thank you all very much for our first meal out in the UK since the middle of January- hopefully see you all again soon.
Our recent experience at Adams was absolutely first class. We were a lunch party of five, and to aid social distancing we had the good luck to be allocated the "chef's table" in the kitchen. We were most impressed by the calm efficiency of the preparation of dishes, all very relaxed, a well-run machine, but with a friendly face - chef Adam chatted to us at intervals, while overseeing every dish before it left the pass. The food, star of the show, was delicious, inventive and fun from start to finish. Service was efficient but friendly, with exactly the right length of wait between courses. Afterwards we had coffee upstairs, and unanimously agreed that lunch was perfect!
A superb evening and the best way to celebrate our anniversary. The food was full of flavours, looked beautiful and clearly demonstrated what an excellent Chef Adam is. The team were smart, polite, efficient but not over bearing.
We had a wonderful evening the food and service were excellent. The wild halibut was the star of the show for me with the oakchurch raspberry a very close second which surprised me as I’m not a desert person . I also have to congratulate the Sommelier on his wine pairing it has to be one of the best selections I have ever tried and his knowledge was excellent. I look forward to returning one day.
