Particularly appreciate the service that Georgie gives us, she is an excellent hostess. All four of us fully enjoyed our meals and the quiet environment in which to talk. We invariably enjoy the meals at the Acacia, thanks. Vivian
It was extremely disappointing to find that the menu on your website was entirely different to the one available in the restaurant. The website menu is far superior to the one actually available. I have eaten many times in your lounge bar for lunch and invited guests to your restaurant for dinner based on the website menu and was embarrassed to find the menu available was nothing like the advertised menu. Very poor management.
What attracted us was the great Valentines dinner for a couple for $120. Great deal offer & if you love your seafood perfect. Ive told my friends about it for next year, they love their seafood. But me & my partner are not seafood fans we will have small portions but thats our limit. Would of been great if there was an option of steak or chicken meals on that Valentines menu. So we ordered from the regular menu. Our entree was chicken nibbles, the coating yum & went well with the side sauce & we had garlic bread, I thought we were getting 4 garlic bread but only 2. Maybe I didnt read the menu properly. Main meal I had fish & chips yummy & fresh & my partner had steak meal, that was cooked to perfection & the seasoning great he didnt add any salt at all (& he loves his salt). We cleaned up all our meals & were hearty full. Service was great & the atmosphere relaxing. We only go out to special venues for special occasions & this was a night to remember. Also loved the glass of wine that was given as a Valentines special great touch & incentive. Would definitely come here again.
Special mention to Justice, our waitress. Service was above and beyond. Thank you :-)
We have eaten at the restaurant a few times now and always enjoyed good service and food. Unfortunately, our latest experience wasn't so good. We had to sit in the bar area as the restaurant was closed. We weren't told this when we made the booking. Service took a long time to take our order and offer drinks. Our appetiser was very good. Then our main took a really long time to come out, we actually had to ask for it. We noticed others who had ordered after us had already received their meals. When the meals arrived, one was wrong. We received not apology and had to wait again for the correct meal to come out. When it did come out it was missing a listed ingredient. We finished our meal then waited and waited for our table to be cleared. This did not happen. No one offered us extra drinks or the dessert menu. In the end we got up and went and paid the bill at the bar. We did speak to the duty manager and they were very good about not charging us for one main. We will go back to give it another try. However, really disappointed with this experience.
A good meal before a visit to the pop up Globe. Most enjoyable.
Lovely meal & great service especially the restaurant manager on 1/1/19 Barmah very pleasant manner too
Lovely staff, peaceful setting and scrumptious food. We really enjoyed our evening just wish we could have fitted more food in! Very generous servings.
Great atmosphere, food was fantastic - great variety. Seafood bar was very delicious. Friendly staff. Would recommend it 😊
Lots of food. Tidy, clean and lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff. Would recommend for work dos
We had dinner here with friends. From booking online right through to leaving at the end of the night, the experience was excellent! Great food variety at the buffet, well worth the price! Wine selection and drinks service was top quality. We made a booking for 6pm for 14 people and 1 little baby and they happily accommodated us and allowed us to stay right up until closing. Great atmosphere and the staff are the best! I highly recommend Acacia and will happily dine here again.
Certianly appreciate the birthday gift of a desert cake. Many thanks.
Great menu to choose from. Generous portions. Fresh and delicious food. Pleasant ambience.
Dined with friends and we had a very enjoyable evening - the service was great, the food was absolutely delicious and the steak I ordered was cooked to perfection - generous portion sizes. I would definitely recommend an evening here to friends. Thank you to all staff on the night - most enjoyable 👍🏾 10/10
Loved the dinner - I suggest kikkoman sauce for sashimi and thinly sliced salmon - loved the dessert
Definitely going back A+++
We had fantastic service and had a delicious dinner. I asked my husband what would make the food a 5 star as it was all cooked perfectly and so fresh. He said a little more selection. He would also like the buffet to be available on more nights as the small area gets quite busy. Thank you so much to the staff that we met - you were all amazing! We have already recommended Acacia to three people today, all who googled so as they can book.
Absolutely love ur service and the help of your staff members we enjoyed the dinner and can’t thank u enough for allowing us to set up the bridal party
The Lady matradee is fantastic. She is always on the ball with seating us quickly and arranging staff to be efficient. Seafood buffet is always a winner.
Great meal and good value with Accor card
We visited the Acacia Restaurant on Saturday evening the 6th of october for the Buffet as we are accor members we go often, I was impressed with the food selection on this occassion it was much better than previous occassions on some visits they forget the little things like capers for the salmon and anchovies and parmesan to make a caesar salad on the salad bar It would be nice if they did nice steamed vegetables without putting them in either a aweful white sauce or in a mornay as they seem to be doing more healthy and palatable without that Deserts are very nice but no runny custard or cream for the apple crumble Otherwise very good
Had to keep waiting for cutlery to be brought out
Were not told of the Sunday Roast meal when asked menus to be emailed to us prior to the evening. Certainly did not know that they would be share plates. Childrens burger meat was not cooked through. The Vegan at the table got a meal with Feta on it, the replacement meal then had no artichoke. Roast meat and veges arrived.....no plates on which to eat them. Meat was cold and had no gravy. Cold mashed potatoes with this meal, not all even got the roast veges supposed to go with the meal, then a small salad came out also.......to be shared between two people having the roast meals. Dessert was dished up before the plates etc were even cleared away, nowhere to put these desserts so we cleared our own table. At no time were we approached to get a drink order.....so we took turns going up to the bar, Actually, I hear that one couple were served a drink, out of a table of 18! We had booked this table over a month before, yet when we rang up to confirm a few weeks out they had no record of our booking. We have used this restaurant lots in the past to take people out to dinner as we have enjoyed the buffet. This night was a huge disappointment to us all, especially as we are Accor Plus members and felt embarrassed we had arranged this family night out.
Came for the seafood, but was in very small quanties... and was not replenished... i got 5 oysters, my husband only got 3. Though people adked for more oysters no extra were put out. None of our kids had any. A bit disappointed actually.
I am an Accor member so my Husband and I eat at the buffet on a regular basis overall the food is ok but sometimes it likes the finishing touches for instance in the salad bar theres not always all the ingrediants to make a ceasar salad ie egg parmesan anchovies and capers also its nice that your doing a hot pudding (apple crumble) but it would be so much nicer if you used fresh apples in the ingrediants instead of the tinned ones there horrible and also have some custard or cream on hand to put on the crumble otherwise very dry lastly it was be nice if there was som sort of gravy available for your ham like a red wine jus as thats a bit dry too Thank you
