Brilliant food, service, staff and location - 3 visits this week! Love it
Great place to go after Otmoor for food & great ales. They have gone all out to make the most of outdoor area. Best pub loos I've ever seen.
We had a very fine experience for our lunch with Abingdon arms
GREAT food. Some really different dishes with amazing ingredients. Would have loved a heater to keep warm.
We had a lovely lunch- great service, delicious food & the rain held off ( but the impressive cover would have protected us). Thank you , we’ll be back!
Loved the wood fired pizza and covered outdoor seating
Hello Abingdon Arms, We had a lovely Dinner Sunday 2nd May, the table was great with a beautiful view and the waitress was very helpful to ensure the Umbrella covered us/the table. The food was lovely and overall experience excellent.
Lovely setting, attentive and friendly staff. Pizza was delicious - will come again
We had a lovely Sunday lunch - glorious surroundings and food and drink. I will be back on Wednesday
Super roast beef and very friendly service and ambience -. Thank you.
Although very busy the staff were attentive and polite. Great service, super views and really lovely food...we'll definitely be back. Thank you.
Suzie was so welcoming and the new covid friendly set up works brilliantly. Please support this fantastic business
We thoroughly enjoyed our food and the friendly, professional service.
Wonderful service, beautiful view and lovely food!
Only 3 for atmosphere but no reflection on the people running things, you did the best you could under the current circs!
Service was atrocious - we waited 40 minutes for food and ended up cancelling our starters. It was an hour before we had our mains. Food was average. There were a lot of staff, but they seemed to do very little. Outdoor dining was COLD - undercover, so no sunshine and no outdoor heating.
Always enjoy our visits to the Abingdon Arms. Suzie and the team do a fantastic job 👍🏻
A few outdoor heaters would have been beneficial if possible
We had a lovely lunch today. Great all round
Great food and wonderfully staff who helped us get a wheelchair to the terrace area - well beyond the call of duty. Enjoyed a really lovely evening, meal and fabulous view. We'll be back!
Thanks for great lunch. Sunny day and hadn’t seen our boys for 4 months. Good luck when It all re-opens inside. See you soon! Hugh and Cally
Best Sunday roast I have eaten anywhere
Despite being a super busy sunny Sat evening the team were full of smiles and we had a really lovely evening - delicious food and great to be out. Well done for your incredible hard work 😓. We will definitely be back soon. The Park family
When we first walked in, 7 staff members walked past us before asking us if we had a booking/ acknowledged we were there. We then asked to change seats so we were in the sun (there was lots of empty tables), but this seemed to be an issue, with a staff member saying they needed to talk to the manager first. Food took a very long time to arrive, when it did, the wrong main was given, the waitress didn’t apologise, instead she asked me to repeat my order 2/3 times which felt like I was the one who’d got the order wrong. The pizza was changed for the correct one, but the second main arrived 10 minutes after the first main and so the first meal was already half eaten before the second one arrived. No one asked how the meal was, apologise for the length of time the food took or the wrong meal being presented, no one said thank you & the wait staff almost grunted at you. I wouldn’t visit again.
