About 64 Degrees Brighton
Recently hailed by the Guardian as “Food-wise, the most exciting thing to hit Brighton for years” – 64 degrees style of modern dining has become the go to hotspot in the city.
Nestled in the old fishing quarter of the lanes – the restaurant created by chef proprietor Michael Bremner – features an open kitchen that is the focal point of the dining experience.
Seated at the pass guests can interact with the chef’s as they prepare, plate & relocate the dishes to eager diners.
The ever changing menu features a selection of modern, innovative & above all delicious plates of food – designed so that you can order several to share & enjoy.
The drinks menu also offers fine examples of locally produced wines, craft beers & English spirits.
We really enjoyed our meal, the food and atmosphere was great, so relaxed and even the chefs seemed relaxed as we watched from the pass. One of the best fine dining experiences we’ve ever had.
We shard nearly all the dishes between the 3 of us!! The monk fish and chilli was the highlight for me. Delicious as ever!
Fantastic evening - faultless. Staff were attentive and welcoming. Recommend sitting up at the pass to get a real feel for what the team/restaurant is all about. Can’t wait to visit again.
Amazing food! Can't wait to come back - staff and chefs are so lovely and fab also, one of the best restaurants in Brighton, loved the small intimacy of the place also!
Amazing inventive food cooked with panache served by charming and efficient staff. Fabulous.
Wasn’t sure what to expect but came away feeling that the food was good and a good idea of sharing meals was also good but if you are after a fine dining experience then this is not for you . Would I go again yes I would
A woeful disappointment; a clumsy mix of flavours served to drown the delicacy of the fish dishes, and slathering a perfectly pleasant and reasonably cooked piece of pork with a chocolate/chilli sauce was a simply bizarre decision that made the dish almost inedible. The service was formulaic though not unpleasant, the atmosphere oddly drowned out by over-loud music from the sort of playlist a 1990s teenager would have made to get over a particularly tragic break-up, complete with Radiohead and the Pixies. All in all could do with a significant upping of game if a 6 year old positive Guardian review isn’t to remain the tag line you rely on.
Having been to your restaurant on numerous occasions we found it highly disappointing this time. The food was nowhere near the quality of previous visits. The restaurant seems to have lost its heart.
Absolutely fantastic meal, we had run the marathon that day and wanted some good food and that’s what we got! We booked this a year in advance and it was worth waiting for.....
Amazing food Superb atmosphere Will absolutely visit again
Incredible food, great service and I love being able to see the chefs preparing the food. Can't wait to go back.
Some truly original things, well executed. Enjoyed sitting at the passe
fabulous food and wonderful service. Thank you!
Never disappoints!! Thank you.
We had a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and we like the way it came out a plate at a time So you could really savour each special dish of food.
Excellent as always. Enjoyed chatting to the Hungarian chef whilst she prepared the food!
A truly wonderful and special experience for our anniversary. Service and food were truly outstanding
I could not fault anything, it was by far one of the most enjoyable service and food me and my boyfriend enjoyed. We got lucky to sit at pass area and it was a joy interacting and watching our food being prepared.
Second time here in 2 months - will be going again soon! - The anchovy Tagliatelle with Crispy Chicken skin is amazing!
Still my absolute favourite restaurant in Brighton, food cooked with such passion which shines through every time.
