About 64 Degrees Brighton
Recently hailed by the Guardian as “Food-wise, the most exciting thing to hit Brighton for years” – 64 degrees style of modern dining has become the go to hotspot in the city.
Nestled in the old fishing quarter of the lanes – the restaurant created by chef proprietor Michael Bremner – features an open kitchen that is the focal point of the dining experience.
Seated at the pass guests can interact with the chef’s as they prepare, plate & relocate the dishes to eager diners.
The ever changing menu features a selection of modern, innovative & above all delicious plates of food – designed so that you can order several to share & enjoy.
The drinks menu also offers fine examples of locally produced wines, craft beers & English spirits.
Table for 4 was booked for 7.45 not ready until just before 8. The meal was too rushed. It was 9.30, we had just finished our meal and we were told we had 10 minutes to order and eat desert to which we declined (there were already some people queuing for our table right next us). I think it has too much hype for what it is. Food was good enough. Would I go back? probably not
Incredible food, attentive and friendly service.
Still as great as the first time!!
The best restaurant in Brighton. Love the food, love the space, love the people. We have visited many times and will always go back! One tip - book the tables not the counter - or there may not be seats for us! Debi Peppin
Five years on and this tiny restaurant still amazes. Brilliant dishes at a reasonable price. The best seats are at the zinc bar overlooking the chefs
The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were courteous and attentive and the kind gesture of a complimentary rum bear for my girlfriend's birthday was much appreciated. Will definitely return and am so glad I booked.
I love this restaurant. The food and the service are excellent. I've been many times and I will be back.
I have wanted to tak emy dad here for a while and his birthday was the best opportunity. We both had such a lovely time, the food and drink was as expected flawless. The staff super friendly and made my dads birthday special with bringing him a birthday dessert. We will definitley come again.
Brilliant as always
Well, we're Old Fogies, so weren't up for 'excitement'. We had a fun, relaxed meal, definitely breaking our boundaries, in a good way. We enjoyed every single dish, everything was well prepared and presented (although we've established nothing even an excellent chef can do will make Jerusalem Artichokes delightful). This was a special birthday meal for me; the small venue meant we could actually talk to, and hear each other, and the service was great. I'm still smiling-- thank you!
Exceptional food, lovely staff and service. Will definitely return!
We arrived late due to parking issues and the staff we so friendly and accommodating. The food was amazing. It was a great evening. Thanks so much
Delicious and interesting food. We particularly loved the monkfish with pink grapefruit and the yoghurt cake with those amazing fermented blackberries. Great to chat with the chef, it was all very relaxed. Clever...Thank you!
Our second visit and just like the first, this was a fantastic meal. The service is on the right side of relaxed and everything was just perfect!
Beautiful food such a special treat for my partners Birthday he was a happy man!
Amazing food and friendly staff
Amazing meal, in my top 3 meals this year. Will definitely be going back
Awesome experience and each dish an uttter delight
Brilliant service, attentive staff including the chefs who were willing to talk my mum through the butchery of the rump of beef. The best meal we have had there.
I can totally understand why the restaurant is rated so highly.
Everything with highly seasoned and the food was average boarder line awful, we ordered around 8 dishes and each one had an issue. I really wanted to enjoy this place but I really couldn’t find anything good other than the cocktails and staff!
I had a wonderful stay at the 64Degrees. It was my first fine dining experience and I couldn’t be happier to start this culinary journey at this restaurant. Thank you very much for the lovely lunch! I had the chefs selection and can highly recommend to try this menu. The quality, quantity and price of this menu was really good. I will definitely recommend this place to friends and colleagues and hopefully will return soon.
A visit to 64 Degrees is always exciting, interesting and thoroughly enjoyable. I only visit Brighton once a year but a meal at 64 Degrees is obligatory !
The food was great except for the artichoke dish which tasted burnt and bitter. But other than that, excellent!
