About 64 Degrees Brighton
Recently hailed by the Guardian as “Food-wise, the most exciting thing to hit Brighton for years” – 64 degrees style of modern dining has become the go to hotspot in the city.
Nestled in the old fishing quarter of the lanes – the restaurant created by chef proprietor Michael Bremner – features an open kitchen that is the focal point of the dining experience.
Seated at the pass guests can interact with the chef’s as they prepare, plate & relocate the dishes to eager diners.
The ever changing menu features a selection of modern, innovative & above all delicious plates of food – designed so that you can order several to share & enjoy.
The drinks menu also offers fine examples of locally produced wines, craft beers & English spirits.
Absolutely delicious, delicate considered and generous extras popped into our experience. Utterly charming staff. Trying out lots of what we ate now at home and plotting our next visit. Thank you!
We had vegetarian only, our waiter made us feel a little uncomfortable as a result. Surprised at his reaction. Our waitress was very thoughtful to bring a bear and sprinkler for my Birthday!
A personal favourite in Brighton, ticks all the boxes.
Great food, great service and a great location. One minor observation in that we could have done with a little more time between dishes.
It's somewhere I can only afford on special occasions as a treat but then again it is special. The maitre d'vina was warm & welcoming throughout as we're the rest of the team who served.us, including one of the chefs. A great experience for my early birthday. Thanks :-)
Fantastic food, a lovely informal setting, and helpful staff - a wonderful evening!
Exceptional, creative cuisine and friendly service. Love the sharing plates concept. 10 dishes for 4 of us was perfect.
I can not put into words how amazing the food is. The chefs are gastronomic magicians, getting so much flavour in a dish which results in an incredible taste explosion on the palate. The staff are friendly and warm and the service is super slick. We celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary and dinning at 64c was the highlight. Cant wait to come back :-)
I had a really excellent meal. Loved the environment and the way all the staff got involved with the customers. The jerk beetroot dish blew my mind and I'm still dreaming about it!
Loved the cabbage!
A superb lunch. Who would have thought cabbage could taste so good.
We were hoping our second visit would live up to the first. It was as fantastic as we had remembered. Your food is wonderful and delicious. Thank you!
Simply amazing. How they do not have a Michelin Star I do not know! Not only one of the best dining experiences I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing but the food and service was exceptional. Little details are often forgotten but certainly not here!! Thank you for such an incredible lunch.
Fantastic and fascinating to see the chefs at work.
Was a delight from beginning to end and food was delicious! 10/10.
Great to sit at the pass, lovely experience and a great evening, staff all great, lovely atmosphere.
My wife and I absolutely loved everything about it. Really buzzy atmosphere in the restaurant. Food was incredible. Loved watching the chefs at work and chatting to the other diners. Great value too. Only downside was that I’ll never be able to cook a parsnip again without my wife telling me that they’re bang average compared to 64 degrees. Feel free to share your recipe with me so I can try and rescue a shred of respect this Christmas lunchtime. Thanks again. We’ll definitely be back.
As usual, 64 Degrees is epicurean theatre on a small stage. Thanks to everyone for a delightful lunch (my birthday) and non-stop gastronomic entertainment. As I've said in a previous post, if Michelin want to award their first star in Brighton they'd need their tyres testing if it wasn't you guys!
Really enjoyed our time at 64 Degrees. Loved the setting, friendly and knowledgable staff and pretty fantastic food too. Will certainly be back.
By far the most creative, well executed and mind blowingly tasty food in brighton! Its fine dinning, with a laid back atmosphere and priced so you could go every week.
Loved it, but thought it was quite expensive £90 for lunch for two with no wine...
Amazing food, never disappoints !
Enjoyed a wonderful evening. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent specially the white. Looking forward to coming back next week with some other friends.
We love your food, are impressed with the changing menu and are regular customers. Every dish is delicious and innovative but on our last visit the partridge and flat iron were hovering on the boundary of over-salted.
