About 63 Tay Street
In 2007 Graeme Pallister set out to create a restaurant following his guiding principles of LOCAL - HONEST - SIMPLE
The result is 63 Tay Street restaurant, situated in the heart of historic Perth adjacent to the River Tay which passes through the town.
The restaurant by day is light and airy with a contemporary feel to the space. In the evenings for dinner the atmosphere is relaxed and sophisticated.
63 Tay Street restaurant was proud to be a finalist in this years CIS Restaurant of the Year Award; and Graeme himself was CIS "Chef of the Year" in 2013.
We were known as we walked in the door! A good start! We had our coats taken and showed to our table right away. The menu was varied although not for those with simple tastes. Drinks were expensive but the quality of the food made up for that! Service was first class from start to finish. Would come again for that 'special occassion'!
Great food, great service .. Fantastic ... What more can I say ?
Really lovely tasting menu! We have enjoyed eating here on a number of occasions but the menu selection, flavours and presentation was especially good on Friday, thanks.
Have visited 63 Tay Street a few times now, usually on special occasions, and have never been disappointed with the food or service. The food is outstanding in flavour and presentation and the whole experience from start to finish is always very enjoyable. Graeme and his team deserve every accolade they receive and I look forward to my next visit!
A lovely meal pleasantly served in a timely manner. A real treat for a meal out on a special occasion.
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience .The food was spectacular. The atmosphere ,attentive service was all first class.Thankyou .We will dine with you again soon.
not quite up to scratch!
A very happy eating experience spent with my husband daughter and son in law My husband and I were celebrating our 51st wedding Anniversary and Daughter and son in law there 21st Food was delisious and service friendly without being intrusive we would all certainly come again
Delicious food and excellent service.
We had a lovely meal with excellent service. As we were the first and only customers in the restaurant for the first part of the meal, that affected the atmosphere but it is an excellent dining experience.
The food was fantastic, finished off with some excellent whisky
Lovely restaurant - excellent food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed our first visit. Thank you.
It was a lovely evening, which was just what my wife and I were looking for. This was our first night out after I had a serious accident the staff had helped by organising flowers for my wife. The food was exceptional, service attentive and we really enjoyed ourselves.
Really lovely food and excellent service.
Great meal in Perth.
Rather disappointing. No evidence that there would not be a complete a la carte menu, very much limiting the choice and cost. I have very rarely been to a restaurant that did not live up to it's reputation, And had minus quantity atmosphere.
Having come on Saturday with high expectations, I'm pleased to say we weren't disappointed. We couldn't fault the restaurant in any way - the food was superb and the service was equally good. From my point of view, this was one of the very best restaurant meals I've ever had. We'll definitely be back!
One of the best restaurants i have eaten in. The staff were superb but the food mamma!!! just some of the best i have eaten in Scotland Thank you all again.
Very pleasant evening. Guitarist very good.
I have eaten at 63 Tay Street many times and it has always been excellent. It seems though, since I was last there, that everything has been stepped up even more. I cannot recommemd 63 Tay Street enough, especially if they have brined and roasted venison on the menu.
Early lunch for us so difficult to comment on atmosphere, pleasant decor and very comfortable, though. Service was relaxed/friendly and the food was superb: fresh, quality ingredients all blended very well - great flavours. Re: value for money, considering the quality of the food and all round experience, certainly didn't feel short changed. Definitely be back.
Pricing of menu not clear. Over charged by £10 not impressed.
Service is fantastic and the food amazing. One of the best restaurants in the UK. Well worth a visit!
Another superb meal in relaxing surroundings. We have never yet been disappointed in 63 Tay Street.
