Delicious food in a warm and inviting atmosphere with friendly and efficient service - highly recommened
Great dining experience, excellent food, top class service and a lovely buzzy atmosphere
Always have a fantastic meal and evening in 60 hope street. Good food, excellent service and a welcoming and cosy environment.
Fourteen of us for dinner . One time time nurses and doctors at Guy's Hospital and husbands and partners. 60 Hope Street was recommended. Go there and enjoy! A warm welcome, excellent food. delightful ambience and every kindness. Couldn't fault it. Thank you so much.
Overall we were disappointed with our experience with Hope60, and felt it did not reflect the social media reviews. From the way we were greeted after being directed downstairs ("do you really have a reservation downstairs?") to the loud atmosphere (piano too loud and people shouting to be heard above the din), and the quality of the food (heavy), and finally the cleanliness and functionality of the women's bathroom. Thanks
Hyggelig restaurant med god mat.
Very good meal ideal for wedding anniversary whilst in Liverpool!
We have visited 60 many times over the years & love their Sunday Lunch Roast. We took a couple of friends along with us yesterday & think it wa quite possibly the nicest lunch we have ever had! The Kir Royale was a great start to the meal & everything else lived up to it! Thank you
Went for my wife 60th birthday with our family and had a really great time
Expensive, but you get what you pay for! Staff were lovely, very professional but also down to earth and happy to talk.
Afternoon tea with fizz. Lovely venue. Very friendly and professional staff. Good range of sandwiches and cakes. Plenty of tea too!
Helpful efficient friendly staff. Excellent food and wine. Lovely restaurant, table settings beautiful. Thank you for a good experience.
Whole night was beautiful. Great staff
Food very well presented and tasty. Service a little slow at times (we were not sure who was our server sometimes). Lovely setting and atmosphere.
Amazing service and incredible food. Couldn’t fault a thing!
Haven't been to 60 for quite some time and were pleasantly surprised. Very good value offer of 3 beautifully cooked and well presented courses with a glass of wine. Service is always excellent. We will be returning!
Not very friendly or welcoming service. There was no “Hello how are you? OR Are you for for any special occasion?” Just a genuine smile or something would do! We came here 10 years ago for our first date and came quite often after for about 6 years and I don’t think we will bother coming back now. It’s a shame because the food is lovely and warming but the server took our order because the waitress was busy. We just felt like the staff couldn’t be bothered being there and didn’t make an effort to make you feel welcome. Perhaps this was an off day but we left feeling deflated when we had so many nice memories there. It just shows that sometimes it’s not always about the food.
Lovely warm welcome, great food
Went for afternoon tea with a friend and we had a really nice time, loved the relaxed atmosphere and really liked that we were able to take our time and have a proper dining experience. Have been a fan of 60 Hope Street since I moved to Liverpool 12 years ago and over the years is has never failed to impress !!
Excellent venue for a wedding anniversary meal.
Unfortunately having heard such great things I was left disappointed by the experience last night. I out of the group left the restaurant hungry. The olives were the best part of the evening.
Have eaten at 60 Hope Street before, and always impressed. Speed of service was perfect, since we needed to go to an RLPO concert. All too often things slow down towards the end and settling the bill is a race against time, but with No 60 it all worked very nicely indeed. Food was excellent, as always, and the service pleasantly informal.
I had booked this as a surprise for my mums birthday, we have been for afternoon tea in many other places and I had a high expectation for 60 Hope St, unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. There were only ourselves plus another family in the whole restaurant which meant the atmosphere was quite dead. This family in particular were very rude and had a screaming child which added to the bad atmosphere. The food tasted lovely however I felt as though we didn't get a good value for money - the scones were miniature (and they're the best bit!) my mum kept her coat on the whole time as she was cold. Apart from that, the service was great and we were given a glass of prosecco on the house as a gesture for it being my Mums birthday which was nice! When I compare it to other places we have been to unfortunately it just didn't measure up.
Expected Five star food and service , had better service in a Fast food restaurant .....
We had afternoon tea for my mothers birthday, it was absolutely delicious.
