My wife and I decided to dress up and go on a "date night", so with that in mind, when we had found out about 12922, Jazz Bar and Speakeasy, that was the logical choice. We were totally captivated by the decor and the fact that our server mixed our cocktails right at the table, which were quite delicious by the way.As the evening progressed, we hoped that 1922 had a reasonable "bar food" menu so that we could grab a quick bite while we were drinking our splendid drinks, but I understand that all that was available was snacks (and hamburgers which I don't eat) that were very small and limited. So, our only issue with the entire evening was not being able to eat some food to help soak up some of the booze we were enjoying. That's it. All in all, 1922 is a very special place. Well done.
Great place will definitely be returning!!
Perfect place for a date night and want to listen to live music. We really enjoyed our time there. We will be back.
Highly disappointed as the advertised singer did not perform. Reservation was originally booked for a 2 hour window, when I arrived I was told that they were only doing 1 hour windows. Drink was good, but I ordered a food platter that was never prepared. I was then told they would give me an extra 30 minutes so I can have the platter or they would close me out and remove it from the bill (after being seated for only 45 minutes). Bad experience over all for the first visit, not sure I will return. Yes it was Valentines Day, but the place was 3/4 empty.
Great drinks, service, and live music!
Great idea. Poorly executed. Drinks were expensive and NOT a good value for the money. Rum Runner Punch Bowl and Sicario drink were watered down. Servers just shrugged their shoulders when we brought it to their attention. Food was not available so I cannot rate it. I was expecting an Art Deco Gatsby type interior. The building was not impressive at all. I was very excited to visit this place and left after only 1 drink. Not impressed. I was really hoping El Paso would open a 1920s style bar and this is far from what I was hoping for.
This place is awesome and we enjoyed ourselves. Love the atmosphere and the service is great!
My Frank Costello was absolutely delicious. My friend had a whiskey sour in it was absolutely bitter and foul. He tried to send it back and they told him he'd have to pay for it anyway. The booths are super small really only comfortably fit 6 people. They did not really have any place to accommodate eight people. Wouldn't let us pull up a chair saying it was a fire hazard and they had to move around their drink cart. But the place was empty maybe 3-4 tables were filled including us not sure why they couldn't just accommodate us since they weren't busy. Cool atmosphere
Great concept. Great service.
I loved the experience and most importantly I loved that I got to share the experience with the most important men in my life. My husband and my twin sons. My sons love everything about the old era and history. Making memories like these last a lifetime. We will definately be back. Thank you
Had a blast! This place is classy, nostalgic and hip all at the same time. From having to hit the secret button in the street side phone booth to be let in, to the decor inside the speakeasy, you feel as if you took a step back in time. I was expecting to run into Al Capone, John Dillinger or Bonnie and Clyde at anytime. The drinks were awesome and the live music gave it an aura of being at a special place. I will definitely be returning, but I'll make sure to bring my friends "The Untouchables" with me!!!
Great hidden gem in the city! Drinks and service was amazing. Especially for the vibe you’re getting.
The music was the best part of our experience there. It was our first time visiting and found it difficult to find. The lemon sour drink I had was not tasty at all and the beer that my husband ordered was the last one. Perhaps the person who does the ordering should ensure that there will be enough beer for the evening. We were there extremely early and the amount of patrons was very low so I do not see why there would not be a sufficient amount.
There is no schedule of the live performances so we were disappointed that there was none during our time there
Excellent service and unique cocktails. We went when it was not crowded (07:30, Friday) and had table-side service. Live music to boot.
Great place. Knowledgeable with great service. Will see you again soon.
The place is great, the atmosphere is excellent as well as the service. I do think it is on the expensive side and maybe that is why the reservations are in hour or two increments because you can’t afford to stay longer. For a special occasion when you are able to spend a lot it’s great but an every weekend place you need to be ready to fork out a lot if dough.
Service was great except toward the end of night, we couldn’t get our servers’ attention. Our punch bowl rum runner was okay, i wish it would’ve been mixed better but the other drinks were delicious!
Amazing service, amazing staff. The best evening anyone could’ve asked for.
Just so expensive. Hard to go regularly- has to be a special occasion rather than a normal stop.
Great experience! Met a lady there for our first date. Definitely the place where someone should be taken. If you want to guarantee a second date! Lol
The atmosphere is very unique and brings you back to the 20's. It was relaxing but yet so much fun. I definitely enjoyed it here and will be back again.
Had a great time, great atmosphere, service, and drinks.
Great live music. Outstanding cocktails! Excellent place for couples or groups to enjoy an evening.
Went there for New Years celebration. Ticket price was very expensive for the value when compared to other bars. Expected 1920's themed dance party and got Sinatra style music. Singer was great! Celebration didn't meet expectations set by advertisements. Drinks were over priced for serving size.
