About Eighteen The Cross
Eighteen The Cross is an independent, family run restaurant located in the heart of the picturesque village of Lymm.
At Eighteen The Cross, we are passionate about serving quality food using only quality ingredients.
Whether you choose our Pan Fried Scallops or our Homemade Fish and Triple Cooked Chips, we use quality ingredients for every dish.
Our sourdough pizza’s are made from scratch on site, the sourdough is proved for 48hrs and then cooked in our stone floor, open fired pizza oven.
For all of our Kids meals, we use the same quality ingredients.
Every Friday, Saturday & Sunday we serve our Brunch Menu from 9am.

Always enjoy eating here, staff are fantastic and food freshly prepared and tasty
Friendly staff lovely food in a pleasant atmosphere.
A great restaurant with fantastic staff and gorgeous food.
The atmosphere staff and drinks were excellent but the food let it down the beef was tough and awful it was a shame really as we really liked the place
Brilliant service Thank you
Some inspired cooking. Liked the open kitchen area. Pleasant local staff who had notes on the dishes. Good layout as could feel comfortable popping in for a small meal and drink as well as lunch or dinner.
First visit and won’t be the last - friendly welcome and advised there was a short delay with food as very busy. No problem, coffee arrived promptly and food shortly after. Good portions and well presented, will definitely visit again.
Saturday morning brunch. Painfully slow service despite not being busy. Luke warm stodgy porridge which sat on the counter for over 10 mins before being served to us. Pancakes would have been nice however clearly cooked in the same pan meat had been cooked in previously as tasted like burnt meat! Mini fry up for kids - no egg, but a whole vibe of tomatoes?! Overall disappointing - service very slow on previous visit but food better previously.
Our 2nd time visiting and definitely won't be our last. We love it here. The food, the staff and the surrounding are all fantastic.
All the staff were lovely ! The manager/head waiter ? (nice chap expecting a baby) was an absolute delight and had a very lovely way about him. Felt very genuine and warm! Food was amazing and wine was yum that the gentleman recommended. Will definitely be coming back!
Good atmosphere and good food
I come for brunch a lot and it’s the best so I wasn’t expecting anything less for dinner. And it didn’t disappoint! Amazing food, service and value for money! I recommend you to friends all the time :)
Good menu, very friendly staff and pleasant surroundings .
I'd heard lots of good things about Eighteen the Cross and so decided to pay a visit for my birthday meal. My partner and I had a wonderful evening! The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and approachable. Our experience definitely lived up to the hype and we can't wait to get back in for a meal.
Love this place, the staff are so friendly and do everything they can to give you a great experience
Lovely meal as always.
Black pudding on starter was rock hard. Arancini had no identifiable rice. Pasta on mains contained solid mass of rice. Seafood appeared to be prawns only. Chef clearly needs to take more care and look for consistency. I dislike making negative reviews but our visit was disappointing.
A great evening...fab table, service & fireworks through the window. 👍🏻
Lovely meal and great service- the only spoiler was that w e were sat at the table next to the kitchen which was very noisy. We’ve been before and will definitiely come again but will request a table away from the kitchen
Better to dim the lights as the restaurant is too bright
hoping to return and say hi to Kia again.... we miss him at his old restaurant in Urmston
Great food and drink. Can recommend
Veggie roast dinner was over powered by garlic. Lamb was fatty.
We were well looked after - given excellent advice on both food and drinks. Very helpful staff.
Fantastic evening. Wine and food were excellent, can't wait to visit again when next in the area. Julie
