Eighteen The Cross is an independent, family run restaurant located in the heart of the picturesque village of Lymm.
At Eighteen The Cross, we are passionate about serving quality food using only quality ingredients.
Whether you choose our Pan Fried Scallops or our Homemade Fish and Triple Cooked Chips, we use quality ingredients for every dish.
Our sourdough pizza’s are made from scratch on site, the sourdough is proved for 48hrs and then cooked in our stone floor, open fired pizza oven.
For all of our Kids meals, we use the same quality ingredients.

Unexpectedly good food when location factored in. Pizzas are good value for money. The junior maitre'd risks being construed as a bit too hearty, and please, please, make sure the cheese in the cheese board is introduced and not just plonked on the table.

Staff are so friendly, attentive and that nice I could happily ask them to join the table! Never let them two managers go, they are Fab! A last minute decision for our Sunday Lunch. I booked the table online; that was very simple and easy. We arrive half an hour early, but we were welcomed as if we were long term Diners. The staff were attentive but not overpowering, which I really liked. Another thing I like is that part of the kitchen reaches out to the diners. The premises were clean and tidy, the dining room light and airy especially those tables close to the window that fronts the restaurant. Those towards the rear looked to be cosy. I was last in this restaurant when it was called Bacchii [I’m not sure if I have the spelling correct] the chef from that time, I believe, is now the owner. The main menu is not massive, so everything gets the attention it deserves, presentation was not too chefy. Our food on the day was delicious and well presented. My ribeye and my wife’s chicken did take a little longer than I might have liked, but well worth the wait. We do not normally take a desert but seeing several go to other tables and a recommendation from the head waiter saw an order for the Homemade Egg Custard Tart with a fresh berry compote and a rather delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding sitting on a pool of buttery caramel sauce all topped with a scoop of very soft and creamy vanilla ice cream. After our meal I had a brief chat with the young lad that made Custard Tart. If he can produce deserts like these the he has a bright future. What a treat!!! My husband and I had a rare child free day and we decided to visit. We're both vegetarian & ordered the new nut roast! It was without a doubt THE best we've ever had and we've had a lot believe me! The whole meal was delicious & perfectly cooked!! We left stuffed and very happy! The staff are all very helpful & the service is great! They even gave us extra veggie gravy! The wine selection is fantastic, I recommend the Shiraz! Would definitely recommend & will definitely be returning. Thank you to all the team for looking after us :)
