The new front of house is good to look at and the food is delicious.
Service wasn’t great, no spoon brought with soup, no sugar with coffee and was all very slow. Also £13.95 for a bowl of soup NOT including bread is outrageous!
Main course (roasts) were ok. The tiramisu did not pass muster, the cream mixture was fine, but the fatless sponge was bone dry - it should have been soaked in coffee and liqueur.
Service was very poor simply because there was only one waitress who was run off her feet!
All the payment machines went down ... and we had to make sure we paid after the show, as no time to go to the cash point. I'm sure it would benefit you to find out why this happened. Apart from that, all was fine ... good food, not such good choices as the last time I ate with you on 18th April but of course interesting to see changes in a menu.
Excellent meal, with great, friendly service
We had a lovely meal. Great atmosphere and then went on to watch a great production
Have all the written menu available as it is limited anyway.
Excellent service. Shame the play was a complete waste of time for me
Great roast apart from soft roast potatoes. Really need to have salt on the table as sides were under seasoned too. Food service was good but drinks incredibly slow
Second time I’ve eaten here. First time excellent food but this time very disappointed. Menu selection uninteresting and food itself dry any over cooked. Had impression kitchen under pressure and/or different chef.
The music on this particular day we found very loud. We understand there were certain singing workshops on the singing from that was extremely pleasant when that replaced the fed music.
Tastety with good quick service.
Service was quite slow and we never received several items that we asked for. The menu was different to that advertised online which was disappointing. Food was of a good quality but I felt it was overpriced for what was served.
Great food - lovely staff - we think it's becoming one of the best places to dine in Bristol .
Friendly and informal staff. Interesting and tasty food - especially the starters. The house red worked well with the food. Gets a bit noisy just before a show starts!
Nice place and food pretty nice but very over priced for what we got.
Very nice tasty meal at very reasonable price
Food was excellent and service was faultless only small complaint £5.70 bottle of wine was £21.00 know your there to make a profit put think it was over the top priced more sensibly would have probably had 2x bottles.
would welcome slightly more varied menu with fish options
Despite having to bring my Dad, we love it!
Was lovely roast and great service
Thank you for a wonderful experience! The food was fabulous, the drinks menu extensive and a little more exotic than the norm, and of course the venue is just stunning. For me the star of the show was the front of house staff. Efficient, engaging and simply an asset - it really does make a difference to the overall experience and desire to return - so we most definitely will!
Food was good value, drinks very expensive. Good friendly service.
Amazing food, stunning place.
