Sister restaurant to New Chapter, Otro is an authentic Scottish institution and one of the best vegetarian restaurants in Edinburgh. They specialise in classic brasserie-style dishes with an emphasis on locally-sourced produce. Alongside their a la carte menu, you’ll find different exciting veggie dishes. These guys can cater to any specific dietary requirement from gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan, all you need to do is ask! Don’t miss out on their desserts, and especially the chocolate fondue – a real piece of heaven.

Wedgwood

Another delicious Scottish eatery, but somehow very unique. This many times awarded restaurant is set on the famous Royal Mile. Chaophraya

Chaophraya is a contemporary Thai dining set on a rooftop giving you breathtaking views of the castle and across the city. And like any great Thai eatery, their menus offer many vegetarian dishes and they’re a true blast. Expect mushroom tom-yum, papaya salad, tofu pad thai, red curry and many (many) more.
