Now Belfast isn't famed for being one of the most romantic cities in the world let’s face it. Where Paris has the Eiffel Tower, Rome, the Spanish Steps and Venice its winding canals, Belfast has the Albert Clock, a giant ceramic salmon, and whatever that thing is in the middle of Cornmarket.
Ok, ok, I’m being a little harsh there. Romance is in fact alive and well in the city, and you can enjoy a relaxing stroll through Botanic Gardens, visit the stunning Belfast Castle, or take in a show at the Grand Opera House (and plenty more besides). Plus, there are many places to enjoy a romantic meal and a drink or two. Try these places out next time your spending time with your significant other.
