After travelling around Australia and eating pies every day for six months, Pieminister founders Jon & Tris returned to the UK with one thing on their mind: to make great British pies. Pieminister in Nottingham is now one of nine restaurants around the UK, so it’s needless to say trying one of their pies is a must when you’re in town. They offer lunch deals for just £7.95 that includes a pie and sides. They’ve also got gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan pies for the pickiest amongst you. Got the afternoon off? Bring your friends and enjoy their escape game, it’s pretty awesome!

Wildwood

Don’t know what you’re in the mood for? Why choose, Wildwood’s got everything! These guys serve freshly prepared food, and whether you choose from the grill section, stone-baked pizza, freshly prepared pastas or delicious salads, you’ll definitely leave this place with a fully satisfied tummy. They’ve got a lunch offer from Monday to Friday: order two courses and a drink for £11.95, or three courses for £14.95. Wildwood is one of the best places for lunch in Nottingham, and one of our favourites!

Kushi-ya

Nothing like a Japanese meal to get you back on your feet for an intense afternoon at the office. This small independent Japanese grill specialises in kushiyaki. It consists of small plates of skewered meat and fish cooked over charcoal – and it’s hella delicious. Expect mackerel, tsukune, tofu Kushi katsu, beef, and many more Japanese delights. They’ve got a great lunch offer: for £10, get one snack, two pieces of skewers with rice and a drink. Book your table to avoid any line!

Turtle Bay

Travel all the way to the Caribbean beaches at Turtle Bay! If you’re in the mood for exotic flavours, head along and try one of their amazing traditional dishes. They’ve got salads, wraps, street burgers, steaks, fish, pots, and many (many) more. Their menu is pretty cheap and the service is fast. Turtle Bay is undoubtedly one of the best places for lunch in Nottingham.
