Santa is coming to Glasgow! And this year, he’s brought lots of Christmas treats with him. We know how difficult it is to please your fussy friends and family, or find a restaurant that caters to everyone’s dietary requirements. Don’t panic, here’s ResDiary’s gift to you. We’ve come up with a list of the greatest festive menus in Glasgow for your Christmas outing. Take a look, get your mouth watering, and book your spot!

Celino’s is whatever you choose to make of it; a bustling cafe, a restaurant, an Italian delicatessen, or your Christmas night out. They’ve come up with a festive menu and, if Italian cuisine is your vice, then look no further. Featuring different mouthwatering dishes of pasta, lasagna, filetto alla griglia, and other meats, their Christmas menu offers “tutto per tutti” (everything for everyone). It’s available from the 26th of November to the 6th of January. Their prices go from £18 to £28, but their warm service and Italian welcoming is completely free.

Fanny Trollopes Bistro

Nothing like a good Scottish meal to celebrate Christmas. Fanny Trollopes Bistro is an authentic Scottish restaurant, offering the best produce “the land of the brave” has to offer. They specialise in fish, seafood, Scottish beef and lamb, fowl, and game. Their festive menu contains three courses for only $22. Expect poached blanquette of turkey, pork belly, haggis, grilled king prawns, and many more traditional plates. Don’t miss out on the orange white and dark chocolate mousse with ginger crumb dessert. If happiness had a taste, that would be it.

Rab Ha's

Rab Ha’s festive menu offers tasty international dishes with Scottish classics. From prawn and crab cocktail to chicken eagerly stuffed with haggis, steak pie och, and falafel with spiced carrot purée, it’ll be hard not to cram everything in your mouth as soon as the food is being served. Situated in Merchant City, this spot can cater for large groups or cosy tables for two, so bring your date, family, friends, or your entire office, and enjoy! PS: if you have a little too much to drink (and we can’t blame you), don’t hesitate to book a room in their hotel upstairs, and you’re in for a entire Christmas night out.

If you’re a seafood fan, then it doesn’t come better than Gamba. Winner of the 2015 Seafood restaurant of the year Award, this hot spot is runned by chef patron Derek Marshall who brings “the best of French cooking delivered with an Asian twist“. Expect Sashimi, smoked salmon, chicken parfait, monkfish, scallops and stone bass. Gamba is “seariously” one of the best spot for a festive menu in Glasgow. It’s been a favourite to Glaswegians and visitors to the city for nearly 20 years. Experience it for yourself!

The Sisters Kelvingrove

She was a contestant in Great British Menu, and now she’s come up with a great festive menu. Celebrity chef Jaqueline O’Donnel is the owner of The Sisters Restaurant, formerly called Sisters Kelvingrove. Situated in the midst of Glasgow’s bustling Finnieston area, this little gem proposes a Christmas lunch and dinner menu, available from the 26th of November and during the whole month of December. It includes mouthwatering dishes like Ramsay of Carluke ham, pan seared sea bass fillet, breast of chicken, and many more. Reserve your spot quick, it’s one of the most exciting festive menus in Glasgow.
