At ResDiary, we looove Indian food. And we’re not talking about the chicken bhuna you heated up in the microwave the other day. We’re talking the real deal, authentic Indian dishes you can only get if you go out. Situated on the edge of Stockbridge, Ronaq is a fine dining restaurant offering mouthwatering traditional dishes in a contemporary atmosphere. A great option for a Christmas night out in Edinburgh. Their Christmas menu includes all the traditional dishes you would expect and it’s honestly a joy. From smoked salmon and crisp confit leg of duck to chicken rillette, seabass, and Christmas pudding, Dine will certainly not fail to please you. If you’re looking for something a bit different than your average Christmas meal, go for seafood. And who does better seafood than the Spaniards? (well maybe the Scots, but that’s not our point). Cadiz is a Spanish gem that offers a wide selection of seafood dishes, prepared daily, with a distinctly Mediterranean and international flavour. And, oh boy, their Christmas menu is good. Order their filete a la planche, arroz con champinones or filete escoces, while sipping one of their carefully selected wines or cocktails. Top if off with their delicious chocolate, caramel or vanilla desserts. At Cadiz, you’re in for a treat.


Ditch your turkey and butternut squash and go for chicken satay and dumplings! This fine dining Thai restaurant offers amazing authentic dishes.
