About The Swine That Dines
We warmly welcome you to our small and unique restaurant in Leeds where we present to diners a sharing menu of creative and inovative dishes. With menus that reflect the seasons and availability of produce, Chef Patron Stuart Myers adds varied and exciting specials each week, to a menu that changes monthly.
Not your average restaurtant, The Swine That Dines became one of the first restaurants in Leeds to take the unusual step of becoming completely vegetarian on the first weekend of every month, and the #RootsToShoots menu is now one of the most popular menus. At other times the menus are influenced by a #NoseToTail ethos.
The restaurant is not licensed but you may bring your own alcohol to accompany your meal.
Excellent range of interesting dishes with fabulous flavours. A real gem.
It's always such a treat to come here!! Delicious as always - I booked a while in advance and was disappointed that the only availability on the booking site was for 1800.... To be expected given the justified popularity. To find the restaurant empty was a shame, I'd have preferred to eat later given evident availability. Did not detract from a fabulous meal, may have just been a booking site glitch.
Hi Lucia, Unfortunately we experienced a number of no shows on the earlier tables on Saturday evening. This is why you found yourselves in an empty restaurant. This is not ideal for anyone and is possibly one of the biggest challenges facing restaurants today. Happily for us from 7.30pm onwards all tables were full. I understand this is of little consolation to you but I say this just so you know you weren't purposely denied a later table. We allow a turn around time of 1hr 45 mins and the table you sat at was occupied again at 8pm. I hope you enjoyed your meal despite this and we look forward to welcoming you again. Jo
Fab food fab night
As ever a delicious assortment of plates of 'real' food. Varied, tasty and different ...no mass produced processed stuff here. Served with a personal touch and a smile. A lovely relaxed dining experience. The BYO policy with no corkage is a bonus. You get what you pay for - quality tasty inventive food. Only a very small concern, a window blind on the few sunny warm evenings we have would make for a more comfortable experience. The SWTD makes you realise how much processed, poor quality fodder is served up elsewhere. Bravo!
Hi Jean, It is always a pleasure to welcome you and your friends. Who knew in Leeds that sun would be a problem? We certainly didn't. Hopefully as we work on the interior of The Swine / The Pig we will find the right solution - the issue is blocking out all the light and making it too dark. We're having a think about it! Hope to see you again soon. Jo
Really inventive menu with some great flavour combinations, will definitely be back for the vegetarian small plates menu
