About The Shore Restaurant
The Shore Restaurant offers a small seafood menu crafted using the best ingredients available on a daily basis. It's a Modern British neighbourhood restaurant, specialising in local, day boat fish.
Bruce (the chef) has captained the kitchens for some of the top chefs in the country, including Michelin starred Restaurant Martin Wishart in Edinburgh, Michelin starred Shanks in Northen Ireland, Gary Rhodes and Rick Stein. This experience has given Bruce the tools, knowledge and passion to create dishes to please you.
Most of all, we want to make you happy when you are our guests and we will always welcome your feedback.
Exceptional cooking, really delicious and imaginative fresh fish with wonderful unexpected sauces with texture and depth of flavour. Moderately priced wine list, very nice service and a really lovely evening. Please, locals, patronise The Shore, you are in for an amazing experience. Wendy
Great little restaurant serving high end food at very reasonable prices. Bruce is very enthusiastic about what he does and this shines through in the whole dining experience. Would recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover.
Bruce produced not only wonderful food but at the same time marevelous service. He deserves great support for his business and my wife and I will certainly be visiting The Shore again in the near future. Thank you Bruce I will be promoting you wherever possible
Another delicious meal at The Shore. Chef Bruce never disappoints and I recommend this place to everyone I know. A fabulous three-course meal, worthy of a Michelin star.
Attention to every details makes a meal at The Shore more than just a meal. It is a truly enjoyable experience.
This is the best restaurant, bar none, I have known in the UK (and that includes The Chimneys on Skye). Dishes are very subtly flavoured and presented and are obviously original creations. Although the list is not long, the menu is varied and very fresh. The atmosphere is welcoming, elegant but informal, not fussy and cluttered. Service is exemplary, even when the restaurant is crowded. And for food on this level, the prices are extraordinarily reasonable. Everything is neat, efficient and charmingly presented, a rare combination. The Shore is a treasure in Penzance and long may it flourish. Joan Clough, Castallack
A fantastic meal. Beautifully presented. A very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
