About The Moody Boar
“Original unpretentious tasty and fresh – and obviously cooked by one who loves food”
Our restaurant, The Moody Boar is located in the Palace Demesne Public Park in Armagh. It has been born out of a Love Food concept (eat, relax, enjoy). We grow our own herbs and vegetables in the restaurant garden and from foraging in the park.
We Love Food to be fresh, homemade and full of flavour, ensuring respect for the ingredients that we use and the dishes we produce; therefore everything made in the restaurant has been made from scratch.
This also crosses over into the restaurants relaxed, quirky and stylish interior.

Excellent food and service as always. Best restaurant in armagh
All great, we'll be back!
Beautiful meal etc. Would have liked some chocolate on the menu but apart from that excellent flavours etc
Excellent restaurant. The food and service is outstanding. Our meal was very well presented and full of flavour. Our waiter Mary was very pleasant and attentive. Will definitely be back soon.
Brought a party of 12 for lunch. Pre-ordered the food and it was ready for us as planned. Very enjoyable lunch.
Starter dishes were as described but the main dishes were perfectly cooked, extremely tasty and of a high standard. Wish we ordered desserts but were too full. However, 60 pounds for 2 starters and 2 mains would not encourage anyone to return to enjoy a second meal.
Had a fantastic day at the Moody Boar for our son's christening. The staff and service were amazing. Especially a red headed guy who served us all day, he was so polite and attentive (sorry we didn't catch his name). The only reason we give 3 stars for value for money, is we don't think the food was worth what we paid for two courses and no veg to accompany the main course. £15 per head would have been more appropriate. The food was lovely but over priced.
