About Camp and Furnace
Event space, eatery, bar, music venue, indoor festival park, photographic studios and location spaces.
Love Sunday lunches at Camp and Furnace. First time taking our daughter and son in law- they were impressed. Love the live music, only criticism is that it was a bit too loud. Other music played also a bit loud. Other than that - great!
Fab Sunday lunch as ever , I couldn't recommend it enough, however we waited 50 mins for a starter......I completely understand it was 5pm the place was busy but 50 mins is a little stretched.
Amazing place Great music Awesome food Brilliant atmosphere...... Will be returning for sure!!
All we can say is unbelievable ! Food, out of this world, service fantastic. I have told everyone about it today as this was our first visit and it certainly won't be the last. We have at last found somewhere that serves the best roast dinner anywhere. It was a truly great afternoon and we will be back very soon. Thanks Karen Mark Terry and Janet.
Absolutely lovely place food really nice but so expensive
Fabulous place. Great atmosphere. Stunning food. Well worth the drive over from Yorkshire!
I was quite disappointed with my recent visit to Camp and Furnace. I booked a table for 14 on your website, but as the booking only allows 8 max, I had to do 2 seperate bookings. I put the same name and notes on both to say that these bookings were together, but when we arrived, this hadn't been noted, which delayed us getting seated. Once seated service was extremely slow (nice waitresses but really understaffed and rushed off their feet). It took 1 whole hour for us to receive and food and those that ordered drinks from the waitress only got them after the starters had arrived - again 1 hour after arrival. This lost yourselves quite a bit of business as people didn't want to wait so long for another drink, so didn't bother ordering...or they had to leave the table to go to the other bar, which kind or defeats the purpose of everyone gathering for a meal but having to get up and down all the time. It was my birthday and I wanted to spend it in what I think is a great place, with really delicious food, but it was actually quite embarrassing that everyone was getting fairly hungry and frustrated, and did put a bit of a dampener on the day. I'd think twice about coming again after this experience.
Would suggest you could improve, as it was quite cold, and I noticed a number of people wearing the outdoor coats.
