About Camp and Furnace
Event space, eatery, bar, music venue, indoor festival park, photographic studios and location spaces.
Unfortunately, as we came at the end of service, the Yorkshire puddings were very stodgy/soggy and were solid batter in some places. The vegetables were also burnt, particularly the red cabbage, which I would assume was from sitting under a hot plate. This was a shame, as otherwise we had a wonderful meal with great service in a really cool venue, and the meat was very good.
Unfortunately the kitchen was really busy, but we were kept informed and we were given (without asking or complaining) 50% off our bill. The food was amazing, the service was great too, and it really didn't matter that we had to wait as we were enjoying the live music and atmosphere. We will definitely be back.
Told this was one of the best Sunday lunches in Liverpool. Passable food at best. Very disappointed.
Thought main portions for 8 people were on the small side. Steak knives would be good for the beef. Service was very good.
The roast was really tasty. The only little niggle was that the drinks came out after we'd started our food. The waiter apologised for the delay, so it wasn't a huge problem. We would come back again. We love the venue.
The food and service were excellent. Our party contained three generations and we were all really happy.
Very good food, service by waitress and bar staff. Only small comment was nobody available to seat us at first and staff member didn't seem sure who to tell we had arrived for table. Very small comment would recommend
Our server was great, I didn't catch her name unfortunately. In terms of meat for the Sunday lunch, you don't get a great deal but the veggies were about right.
